android is like a I-pad but much cheaper.. it has a Kindle application so I read books on it as well as posting on BS, playing Drawsomething and checking emails.. I just bought the Gregor the Overlander series which were written by the same author who wrote the Hunger Games.. interesting sci-fi/fantasy, I'm on book 2 now

Deb, do you know how closely the series follows the books. I think I'll have to get the books Do you have a favourite character?

I did say my tastes were ecelectic.. while I was sick and bored I downloaded the complete works of LM Montgomery because I loved the Anne of Green Gables books as a child, it was a bargain at £1.93 and I have spent many happy hours reading of innocent-er (made up word ) times

I never read those...may give them a whirl...you do see them on the car boot going for a song. On DeeDee's hoarder site it says don't have more than 500 books, so I'm not a proper hoarder yet. I have a hankering to buy all my childhood books, must desist.

But one can never have too many books... unless they are in your bathtub, kitchen sink, cooker, fridge and on the stairs! I always wanted a study with floor to ceiling shelving rammed with books.

Large prints mostly, from the library, everything has to be for ease now. Can't read without a bright bright light either, too burning, but needs must. Last book finished was last night The Wonder by Emma Donoghue which made the Irish side of me loathe the English side, slightly scitz! The English have a lot to answer for. I was gripped which takes a lot now, I have no attention span, it has to be good. The Wonder Book by Emma Donoghue Description 3.6/5 Goodreads 5/5 Waterstones 75% liked this book An eleven-year-old girl stops eating, but remains miraculously alive and well. A nurse, sent to investigate whether she is a fraud, meets a journalist hungry for a story . . .Set in the Irish Midlands ...

That book sounds interesting Ditto I have three books on my Kindle that I have started but abandoned. I should really go back to one of them and give it a chance. Amazon have made it more awkward to source the books now. You can't just click on book store but have to go via the main site and it doesn't suit me. So recommendations are on here are welcome. I only buy the 999p or 1.99 books though
