News about The Mountain changing its airtime slot, from Tome, which will impact on when JM's episode airs. October 19, 2004
Jack & Bobby and The Mountain Switch Timeslots
The WB announced Tuesday its Sunday family drama Jack & Bobby will switch time slots with its ski soap The Mountain. Starting Wednesday, Oct. 27, Jack & Bobby will air at 9 p.m. (ET), while The Mountain will move to Sundays at 9 p.m. starting Oct. 31. David Janollari, president, entertainment for The WB, also said the network has ordered four additional scripts of The Mountain. Jack & Bobby received a full 22-episode order earlier this season.
An original episode of The Mountain will air Oct. 20, while a Jack & Bobby repeat will air Sunday, Oct. 24. Both shows will premiere new episodes in their new time periods. "A Piece of the Rock" was originally going to go out on 3rd November, as we know, so does this make it 7th instead? And commissioning more scripts is a tiny chink of hope for the show.

ASK MATT Monday, November 1, 2004
Question: The airdate for the episode of The Mountain that James Marsters will be guesting in has been changed so many times, I don't know what's correct anymore. James' official site says Nov. 21, 2004. Is that the correct date? What's the name of the episode? Thanks for any info. — Carol A.
Matt: According to WB's most recent sweeps update, the episode titled "A Piece of the Rock" will air Nov. 21, with our beloved Spike playing Sam's (Penn Badgley) deadbeat dad, who apparently has spent the boy's college fund to start a microbrewery (Spike Beer, maybe?). That fine actress Carmen Electra also appears in this episode, so while I may tune in to see James Marsters' long-overdue return to , I will admit my expectations aren't that high.

The Mountain: More Buffy alumni -- and a Spike alert! James Marsters plays a deadbeat dad with a get-rich-quick scheme in this struggling soap. Which proves that even if you're undead, there's life after Buffy. 8 p.m. Sundays. KDAF/Channel 33

Yeah, and with arms like hams apparently; wonder if they'll do arm make-up like for Robin Williams in Popeye?

Arms like hams? Explain to dumb brunette, please?!

Well, I think it actually said 'arms like tree trunks' but I prefer the old fashioned phrasing 'arms like hams' lol. You know the shape of a ham? Slim bone and getting wider and wider, think Tom and Jerry and the cat knicking a ham from the fridge....oh just ignore me *sigh*

It was the script that called for arms like tree trunks.
Did anyone see the promo for the show, featuring James? It apparently was shown last night and plugged him as upcoming star guest. He was sporting his short hair, a dark tee (no change there then, lol!) with a shirt over it, rolled up sleeves to show us those arms, lol! And people thought they saw tatoos.... Also a hint of a Southern accent.

James can do anything they throw at him. I really love his character Spike and have to have a Spike look every night. Always put in a DVD and look at the Blond doll or I cannot stand it. He will be good in the Mountain I am sure, but Spike will live forever. He is so sweet, the big bad Hope to hear from someone. Also am I a member? I am not on the member list. Spike is off I wish they would make a movie. Yvey
