GAL at zap2itJames Marsters, Spike on "Buffy," will guest star on "The Mountain" as Penn Badgley's father. I'm glad to see the WB taking care of one of their own and, of course, delighted to see James Marsters, but (insert whine here) did it have to be on "The Mountain"?Lol. All these reluctant people will be tuning in though....

Okay, have to qualify the info I am about to post (happening a lot today. Good, thuogh, that James is popping up here, there and everywhere) because I thought that anyone could go into IMDb and add info. Some of the detail, ie the episode numbers, is incorrect from the get go. Anyway... *drumroll* www.imdb.com/name/nm0551346/The Letter is actually episode 8 (I know too much about this show already!), and why would it air the same night as episode 7 (which is the one we knew about), huh?

Yes indeed. And his being brought in to work on the show has been seen as a good sign by folks who know his work. Apparently he has a good rep for being a script doctor (and trust me, from the casting sides' evidence, someone was needed!).

Hopefully Jameses acting and apperance will up the viewers and rateings as always and then he might get main storylines ok wishful thinking but he can do it and if shaun gives him the storylines to run with it could become a hit show ;D ;D ;D with James as Main character ;D ;D ok its a dream but it could happen anything can happen in Hollywood Has he filmed his scenes yet

The ratings thus far for The Mountain have been.. well...appalling! But I think this week's look better than last www.mediaweek.com
In the battle of UPN versus the WB, although The Mountain on the WB (#6: 2.9/ 4) narrowed the gap opposite UPN's Kevin Hill (#5: 3.1/ 4) in the overnights, Kevin Hill aired in only 43 metered markets (compared to 50 for The Mountain). Based on adults 18-49, Kevin Hill (1.8/ 4) had a 50 percent advantage over The Mountain (1.2/ 3).

Well, at the moment, anyway! They might ask him back to do other 'guest' appearances if people like the character. After all, they were gonna kill Spike off after a season or two, weren't they? But then didn't, cos everyone liked him...

Any US-ers read "Entertainment Weekly"? In the October 22nd edition (#789) they have a wee blurb and a "pic" of James. Edited, as why rely on a description when a pic says so much more Scan by multifaceted

Hm, I don't think this show will ever make it to Germany so I'll prolly never get to see this We have too many similar shows of our own (though we tend to split the plot up into several shows: one about the hotel, one about skiing, one about two rivalling families... german 's better than any tranquilizer. Will make you sleep within minutes).
