Hot off the press news from this afternoon's Word and Music, with Mr H saying that James' new movie is called Shadow Puppet and begins filming on JM's return across the pond.
I love psychological thrillers, and I am a "fan" of Jolene Blalock so *woot* ;D

And that's just been confirmed in a message from James via JM Live: <snip> Hope you're not all as tired as me, but apparently I can get an extra hours sleep in the morning! Gonna need it. Start filming on Monday on Shadow Puppets. It's a psychological thriller and I'm really excited about it all.
Have a happy Halloween
James

I'll be right there with ya... although I do have an awful feeling that the Dresden script is going to be so far superior to this one that it'll be on a different planet, and I may have to sob into my Rice Krispies if someone else gets the chance to weave Harry's magic. Still, I shall be exceedingly happy to be proved wrong! There may be significant rewrites and script doctoring afterall

Well now, Michael Winnick seems to have turned his hand to writing, producing and directing, but not many projects under his belt really. So far only found info on IMDb, which is a hit and miss source. Such reviews as there are (from Joe Public) are not very complimentary for the things he's been involved with; and do you think he wangled bit parts for a couple of relatives in Hunting of Man? Well, everyone's got to start somewhere and learn their craft so I shall remain cautiously optimistic

lol......I've just been in the 'IMdB' too, looking up Mr Winnick, that review on 'Deuces' isn't exactly complimentary is it.......oh well as you say we shall see.

But the cast list is shaping up very nicely indeed; hang on to that! I haven't watched Candyman for quite some time... might have to blow the dust off the vid and give it another whirl this weekend. I always found Tony's voice terribly seductive. And he was Worf's brother, so I am all kinds of excited he's in the movie with James, and Jolene .

Very true.......it's age's since I saw 'Candyman' too, I think G might have a copy in his room somewhere , although I don't fancy going in there and trying to find it....lol

If anyone's interested, there's a bit more of a blurb about Michael Winnick's The Duplicate (aka Deuces) HERE, with a wee trailer. And a more considered review of the movie HERE

If you mean Shadow Puppets, it's intended for theatrical release (but most are and some don't make it, going straight to DVD for whatever reason). The Duplicate was in cinemas too, as far as I know.
