I have 2 spare tickets for St James on Friday, which were purchased by a friend who is now unable to go. Please PM me if you're interested in them. If I've posted this in the wrong place, please feel free to move it, PK. Can't wait until Friday! ;D

I am proud to be able to bring you the first gig report, even though I wasn't there ;D NL phoned me not long after 8-30 just as James started in on Long Time. The sound was great and James' voice was strong and beautiful. The crowd were appreciatively loud, and in the right places. Then we had Angel. Two of my absolute faves - great timing NL, thanks dahlin'. And to make it all the better, I was sipping champagne at the time

Hey PK I need a lot more time to write a report but here is just a taster of how good he looked at St. James'. Will put up more soon but photobucket is a pain in the ass and takes an age to upload. The internet connection here is also run by snails.

Will, you star! Thanks very much ;D A message from James: Friday Oct 28
Hi guys,
We tried to save the stuffed mouse that nose-dived from the balcony tonight, took it to emergency but it was too far gone. Sorry.
It was great to see so many friendly faces out there in St James's Church. I really felt everyone's energy tonight. It was amazing.
Hope to see lots of you tomorrow, it's going to be very special.
James
PS For all of you that have been asking, here are the set lists. [I've put the Islington one in that thread - PK]

Not much to say, except that the atmosphere (as usual!) was really good, and it was a lot of fun! ;D All my favourite songs, and a few I hadn't heard before. We met Sam (who I hope will join us!) outside in the queue, and adopted her - it was her first James gig, and she enjoyed it so much she decided to get one of the spare tickets for W&M ;D Go James! I stood most of the way through with some of the others, cos otherwise I wouldn't have got much of a view - back was killing me by the end of it, but it was nice to be able to see! Bit of a shame about the 2 diminutive fans who'd turned up wearing belly-dancing scarf/belts - you know, the ones with coins hung all the way round so they jingle? and the board someone knocked over in the middle of one of the songs - being utterly professional, James just carried straight on through without so much as a missed chord! and it was nice to see Al again (pats Al on the head aw... bless the boy). Um... that's about it, really...

Hey Everybody At last here are the pictures you've been waiting for, it's only took me about 3 hours to upload them all but i've eventually finished it at 2.15 am and am about ready to head off to bed. So here is the link for you all, as usual the password is james all lower case and i'll leave you to your drooling ;D ;D, one other thing though before i shoot off because it's so late and i wanted to get them done for everybody let me know if any of them haven't loaded up properly or any other problems. Chat to you all.......tonight lmao. P.S ........and of course it's under the St James folder because it wouldn't let me put the 's at the end lol. P.P.S Oh and another thing, the photo's are pretty much in back to front order but it's no big deal, the james one's are still in the middle surrounded by mad one of us lot so it doesn't make any difference lol. Right i really am going to bed now......promise. photobucket.com/albums/y107/willowwood314/St%20James/?start=0

;D Brill piccies Will, ;D, apart from a couple I'll happily pay you to delete....... I enjoyed St James much more this time than in April, thanks to NN I had a far better view and unrestricted this time ;D I liked 'little' Al Britten and he gave a good performance, but I have to say personally I prefered Evi Vine the evening before no please from the Al lovers, but to be honest I can't even remember any of his songs James was on form and sounded great, his interaction with the audience always makes me smile, and the dive-bombing mouse nearly gave me heart failure.....lol It is getting really hard to describe how I fell when I watch a James gig, except to say I'm always thrilled by the sound of his voice and the way he portrays his songs Suffice to say I loved it ;D ;D

Lovely pics! I see a few in there with me and K in, which is nice. It's good to have some pictorial evidence that I really was there, as I didn't take any myself!

Hey Everybody Glad you like the pics, i'm just a bit miffed that they're not as good as they could be. My camera is sometimes to technical for it's own good, and has a tendancy to focus on whatever the closest thing is in range even if you don't want it to and makes everything else dark. Stupid bloody pillars grrr. They all started out a lot darker when i first uploaded them and have had to lighten them up myself. Hi Cal, yeah i'm the same i like to have good evidence that i was there, feel free to print out any of you and K or james that you'd like to keep, especially as you didn't take any yourself, and sorry i didn't get to chat to you i don't come on here very often (something i'm trying to change) and so don't think we've ever spoken before, but if you have any recognition i was the blonde with the camera standing against the wall on your left hand side just up to the front from you and K. Scary pics of you NN???, if i did that i'd have none left lmao. ;D ;D
