Are you ready for Spring Fever?
Don't miss this one-off exclusive event as James Marsters celebrates his return to the UK. This afternoon/evening event on Thursday, May 3 (doors open at 3.30pm) will be an unmissable get-together in London for 130 people - and James. Each ticket includes a limited edition CD EP only available at this event, an afternoon of performances, a drinks reception with James, the chance to win a post-show supper hosted by James and more.
Tickets go on sale on www.jamesmarsterslive.com from 10am UK time on Saturday. Further details will be available on the website at that time. Places are strictly limited because of the small capacity of the intimate venue. There are only two places for wheelchair users, so please specify if you will need one of these when buying your ticket.
Payment for tickets is through Worldpay, which accepts Visa, Mastercard and Delta.
No other events are currently planned for Spring Fever.

Doesn't say how much for tickets. That really isn't on. We get all hyped up but have the worry of whether or not we can afford to go. I'll probably be reckless and use my flexible friend . I'll always flex for James and hang the consequences ;D

Judging by the squee and bounce in Prattle, I reckon everyone here who tried for a ticket got one I'll do a rollcall thread, but if anyone is missing (or is on but the finds they aren't going) let me know. They sold out fast (half an hour?), and unfortunately it seems that some people who got through the booking process later receivced an email to say too many transactions had gone through and they did not have a ticket afterall. That must feel awful. For the lucky ones, this is what you're getting: Spring Fever is a special event for 130 of James's fans. It includes:
an acoustic concert featuring songs previously unheard in the UK
James reading from and discussing his favourite poetry
a drinks reception where James will mingle with the attendees for over an hour.
PLUS every ticket holder will receive a signed limited edition live EP of two previously unrecorded songs. The EP is being produced exclusively for Spring Fever and will not be released on general sale at a later date.
Every ticket holder will also be automatically entered into a free draw to win the chance of a post-show supper with James following the event.
A small group of winners will be invited to relax, enjoy good food and chat with James in an informal atmosphere.
Spring Fever is being held at the Rich Mix Arts Complex, Bethnal Green, on Thursday, May 3. Doors open at 3.30pm and the event will end at 9pm following a drinks reception (first drink included in ticket) with James.
Rich Mix, in the heart of London's historic East End, is one of London's smartest new venues and offers raked seating so there is good visibility from every part of the auditorium. For venue details check out Rich Mix.

That's such a shame ladyflame! From what I've been hearing, you're not the only one that's happened to. Does anyone have any hotels to recommend? We're hoping to stay near other James fans this year, as we were miles away last time. It must be somewhere with wheelchair access, too. Any info would be appreciated.

How awful is that to be told you have a ticket and then find out you don't! What a balls up! I'd be devastated if it were me.

I'm afraid it was always going to be a given that lots of people would be would be disappointed There was always going to be more than 130 fans wanting tickets , and with the frantic waiting to buy a ticket , clicking buy before reading the small print , and then possibly not noticing that the confirmation e-mail only said that the transaction was successful and they would have to wait to hear from JMLive before knowing for sure , I think many people counted their chickens ....I know I did ! I'm feeling very lucky to have got a ticket , and feel very sorry for all those who didn't , but I'm sure there will be other times when I'm not successful andthey are ...such is life
