I still can't believe we're going. I keep thinking they've made a mistake. And anyway there's always MK and the gig, so we should count ourselves lucky. But I want it all! ::is greedy for James:: He'll be mingling and stuff. Wonder if he'll give out more kisses. I have my three in a row on my James' shelf.
edit/ PK delete this if too long and if repeated. I'm just wondering where we're staying...I moved it!

Blimey, that's a list and a half Personally I think it best to try and stay in the City, Liverpool St. Aldgate areas as they are fairly close. Havn't checked any prices yet though. Any thoughts?

I liked that Travelodge. Fingers x for the lift.
How come Bethnall Green hotels are expensive? I thought it was a cheap and cheerful sort of area?

It's more expensive everywhere in London Mon-Fri , the hotels are busy ripping off the business travellers ! Is that the Travelodge near Kings Cross Dee Dee ...if it's £49 per room its a good price for midweek . I know y'all like to book early , but I'm looking to get something last minute when there are some real bargains

Can't wait to see you all, even if I'm not going to the Thursday do, wild horses (or a walking stick) can't drag me away from Friday night!! It's nice to have something to look forward to, since 2006 was full of sickness & injury!!

That ticket will be snapped up, no wonder Jinx is worrying about her inbox lol. ::prepares for stampede::
I think one of Deb's friends has a ticket and isn't going either. Can't remember who it was now. She was fed-up 'cos she'd rather have gone on her day off but they only just announced it. Shame she can't swap. I want to go to EVERYTHING! Do we know where we're staying yet then? We could always pitch tents in a carpark like Cliff Richards' fans did.

I'm thinking of booking at Kings Cross Royal Scot, too. Is it definitely wheelchair accessible?

This is exciting isn't it? It's getting real-er.

Thanks for the info on the hotel, DeeDee and NN. I've had a look and they do have accessible rooms. Yay! ;D Does anyone know how easy it is to get to the venues from the hotel? My husband was supposed to be providing us with transport, but it looks like he might have to work now. He's driving us to the hotel, but we'll have to make our own way to the venues, which I'm very, very nervous about.

Don't worry cal all the black cabs have wheelchair ramps (and some are more helpful than others)its easy to get round in a taxi you just have to flag them down in the street ;D ;D but if you want one to come for you at a certain time thats about £5 extra on top of your fare (they're called Dial a Cab)

Ooooooo all these arrangements! I'm getting very excited now, it feels very near. I think I'll order some ensembles and ten pairs of shoes outtov the catalogue.....I'll need something to wear for my photo shoot... Wonder what he'll be wearing? Not a tux this time, so I'm thinking something elegant but casual....
I don't do elegant though, more sack tied up ugly...I picked out a stripey jumper and Daph is laughing fit to bust! The cheek! Still, on all my photos of me next to JM, we look like Jack Sprat and his wife. Is everybody else having their pics taken with him?
