Ghost of the Robot. Two words - FUCKING AWESOME!!!!! And Mars Police (Sullivan's newly named band) are bloody good too!
it was worth every minute of sitting outside in the pouring rain being totally soaked through. And then being rained on inside a well.. the club leaked like a sieve!
Sullivans band has grown by one more member so now there is four of them and they are one superbly talented bunch of guys. They did eight numbers - they were constantly swapping guitars between them, two of them also played keyboard as well and one track was Daniel the new guy on guitar and Sullivan kneeling on teh floor accompanying him drumming on a tamborine and something that sounded like an upturned bucket (couldnt see cos of the huge front speakers) and Aaron just came out and got on the drums for the last number, whihc wasn't even his drum set, it was the middle band's, and it was totally unrehearsed but they were really rocking!
And I have the first ever set list from Mars Police! I went to talk to them after (in the rain!) and they are polite, personable young men who tried to find the set list for me, but couldnt, so Sullivan said "I'll go find some paper in my dads car" whihc he did and then Cody re-wrote the set list for me and they all signed it! Which was very cool of them - for guys that young they are laid back and dealing with it all pretty well. I took a lot of video as it was so completely dark and hopefully i should be able to take screen caps out of it. I did also get pics too - I sneaked a few flash shots in. Might be able to download some on this computer, otherwise it might be when i get home - whihc could be a while by the looks of the weather....!!
James sounded great - little bit shakey on the first song (this town) but then they were off and rocking. Sang a few they didnt last time - including my all time fav James song Fall of Night. ( sadly a bit spoiled by the shouting from the drunk skanky ho towards the back) Sullivan joined them for a few songs - his rift in the middle of Truth Is was awesome! James was very proud daddy!
Talked to James a few times afterwards whihc was great - got lots of hugs (and kisses) He spent about an hour gradually moving his way first out of the club and then out to the car - but was happy and very enthusiastically talking to everyone. Patricia was there (selling the merchandise!) being very sweet and watching James interacting with everyone with a resigned but indulgent smile! I took some photos of her too - she is sooo gorgeous, even when she was as wet through as we all were by this point!
Will write more details once i have time to get my thoughts more in order or when i think of things...!

So far have uploaded 2 vids to YouTube - both of Mars Police. there would be more, but each one is taking between 2 and 3 hours to upload - and the third one was almost there when my internet connection conked out as its wont to do. Is there any quicker way of getting vids to upload? I have 6 of Mars Police and 9 of GoTR some of which are several songs long and at this rate would take about 6 hours to upload each? Its crazy! Here’s the two so far... Red Carpet, Red Chair, Red Curtains+CRVLater – Got fed up with Youtube, so have done all the photos instead Holiday Jam - Sullivan being very cool and James being very hot. And wet....!Am ridiculaously tired - I keep seing things moving out of the corner of my eye and i seem to be partly dreaming whilst still awake. And Ive just deleted a whole post by accident - time for bed methinks...
