Thanks, Pixie! NL - Darling! Miss you terribly but am so glad you are getting this chance to travel. It's so great. LOL - when you get back, I expect you to take over the reins of the Jean Claude DuValliere fan-club. Have fun, honey. I'm here if any of the "budding" writers need me.

NL should def get into print now ~ 'Adventures of a Spikette - abridged version' I'd buy it. Summary: Wot went down in the steamy jungle, behind the pyramids and up the Amazon, read all about it, not to mention the steamy affair with the chef onboard the luxury sea-going vessel. I can just see the first line Leaning my heaving bosom on the ships' rail I gazed giddily at the Galapagos Islands ...

This one from Road To RomanceFBI profiler Jack Niemczyk is on the worst case of his life. In his almost twenty years as a Special Agent, Jack has delved into the minds of some of the craziest criminals and sickest serial killers. This latest serial killer case, however, is causing him some serious problems. Someone is killing women, draining their blood, and dumping them on the streets of New Orleans. Jack and his partner, Remy Lambert, are no closer to solving the case than when they first started. That is until Remy decides to ask the local Master to assist in finding the killer. Jack is a little confused as to why the local police, more importantly Remy, would ask for assistance from someone who seems to be nothing more than a criminal himself and whose wife looks like a hooker. Baby is no hooker. She’s the Queen of the New Orleans vampires and she’s set her sights on having Jack. Baby gets to have her cake and eat it too when she lures Jack into her embrace and makes him her pet while at the same time, she is the local vigilante looking for Jack’s serial killer. Pure lust and desperation allow Jack to overlook the fact that his “lover” is a killer. Has Jack bit off more than he can chew in allowing himself to be the “kept” man of the Queen Vampire? Will they solve the case before more women are killed? Or will Jack’s life be destroyed and the killer roams free? T.D. McKinney builds on the mysteriousness of New Orleans with her eclectic cast of characters and nail biting suspense. She enhances the book with glimpses from the mind of the killer that will put chills up your spine. Jack’s tendency to look at the case with scientific eyes is reminiscent of X-Files Mulder and at times was frustrating until he finally realized that he was dealing with vampires. I’m interested to see how the series will continue. DANCING IN THE DARK is wonderfully dark and erotic. Anyone up for some DANCING IN THE DARK? It's great when your friends like and enjoy what you do but there's something just squee-able about strangers who don't know you from Adam saying stuff like this.

NL - Darling! Miss you terribly but am so glad you are getting this chance to travel. It's so great. LOL - when you get back, I expect you to take over the reins of the Jean Claude DuValliere fan-club. most definitely my dear! I hope when I'm over visiting Marilyn in August/September we'll get a chance to hook up too pet and that's another great review! ;D ;D thanks for having everyone in the internet cafe turn round and gawp at me Ditto! I nearly wet myself laughing. Though that may have something to do with the fact that I have a mild case of altitude sickness, which means I feel like I'm on PK's piss pills all the time

Just got back from Romantic Times Book Lovers Convention in St. Louis. It was great. It's the first con where I've been a guest. It is really great but really weird to have people ask to me sign their tote bags and things (as well as their books) and to have their picture made with me. I don't think it will ever become mundane for me. I'm so excited each time someone comes up to me to say they've read the book or they want me to sign something. Man, talk about a high! DitD was also just named a "Recommended Read" by Fallen Angels Reviews who gave it their highest rating. I am a most happy person. You ladies will really appreciate this -- both the cover models for the Mr. Romance contest and the cover models for Elora's Cave were at the con. They are some very pretty young men. I danced several times with this one: Ed Scott. He's a very nice man and a private detective when he isn't posing for pretty pictures. Also met an Italian television producer. His name is Lallo. He's very pretty, too. LOL - He speaks no English and I speak no Italian but we got along famously. LOL - he kept putting flowers and vodka down my cleavage. He also gave me a couple of lovely photos of him. They are signed in Italian "To Terese, my favorite American vampire." We talked (okay - sign language) about making DitD a film in Italian. LMAO - that'll be the day, right? Also had a lovely conversation with LaNell who could easily play Rex if DitD is ever filmed. I have to admit I have an intersting life some days.

Actually, it was "Vampire Vodka" - a brand imported from Englad that's RED. And it was in a champagne glass and he was pouring from the glass. LOL - there are details on my LJ. Lallo is a mess.
