Oh how nice. But I`m a little confused, so I have questions about that: 1) How much does that convention cost for three days? Are there different kinds of tickets? 2) Where can I find a ticket shop there (I have no creditcard, but I can ask someone.) or will there be one soon? 3) When sould I order my visa for USA before its too late? (yeah I already have a passport :-) ) 4) Are there flights for less than 1000 Euros from Germany to this con and what´s the name of the airport near this con? 5) Where can I find a nice accomodation there, which is not to expensive?
Sorry that I ask so much, but I`ve never been there, so I`m a newbie. And maybe that will be my first USA trip. Would be cool.

OK - DragonCon is HUGE! big, busy con thast held in 4 hotels! Its actually 4 days as there is stuff on on the monday morning. The tickets are for the whole con and theygo up in price as the dates gets closer. So the earlier you buy, the cheaper it is. Pricing for the Memberships to Dragon*Con 2010 is as follows: $70 until 02/15/2010 $80 until 05/14/2010 $90 until 07/15/2010 $100 thereafter and you buy from DragonCon at the website - you need a credit/debitcard to do so. Ticketmaster will sell them after the 15th July. Cant help you on the visa, your rules are different to ours. And yes you dshould be able to get a flight for under that easily - think I paid about £350 last time - so about 400 euros and its Atlanta Harefield International Accomodation is the problem. All the con hotels are already fully booked, but they do get cancellations. A lot of the overflow hotels are full too. You would have to look around on the net - you dont want to be too far away fro the con hotels - it can be very humid and hot in september and its a pain having to walk very far. Sure James will do other US cons this year whihc are easier - DC is one hell of a introduction - but if you can survive that, you'll survive anything!

And here it is: James Marsters - The Official Page We regret to inform that James will not be able to attend DragonCon as planned due to his work schedule. This is extremely disappointing for James and his team. Although out of our control, we apologize for any inconvenience this will cause. The silver lining is that James is working on a fantastic pilot (Three Inches) that he is very excited about and hopes will be picked up as a new series on the Syfy network.Kai's there, though ETA - oops, he's dropped out now too.
