And from the WB:
CLARK IS SHOT! - Chloe (Allison Mack) is warned by Gabriel (guest star Johnny Lewis) that he is going to set off a missile and obliterate all of Smallville. Still stripped of his super powers, Clark confronts Gabriel and ends up getting shot. In the hospital, Clark flatlines and his fate is left in Jor-El's hands. Meanwhile, Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) believes Lionel (John Glover) has the key to open the spaceship. Kristin Kreuk, Erica Durance, Annette O'Toole and John Schneider also star. Brian Peterson & Kelly Souders wrote the episode directed by Whitney Ransick (#2T6403).

Claaaaaark Iiiiiin Spaaaaace! That was cool! Overall, great fun and good entertainment. DaddyLuthor being taken over by Jor-El was excellent. But it strikes me that the editing is a bit weird this season. They reach a climax... and then you still have a good 10 minutes or more of show to go Theere's also a tendency to be slapdash about their loose ends. And if poor old Michael has to sit inert and just say "I heard about..." much more this season, I'll scream. Best actor on the show and he never gets enough to do! Wait! I recall saying that about BtVS and AtS at various stages...

Heh...Clarks mom (Annette O'Toole ) played Lana Lang in the Superman IV film ,and the blonde is Chloe, editor of the school newspaper . She fancied Clark, but knows her chances are zilch cos he loves Lana . Chloe found out about Clarks superpowers when Alicia(Clarks g/f in S4 and with the power to 'energise' herself Star Trek like to anywhere she wants) makes sure she sees him lifting a car over his head.

Ditto, I'm starting to get more into it. Of course, we are up to ep 10 or 11, I think. There is one part in an ep with James, where Clark make him look like he's standing in a hole!!
