I've seen those ones already Rosie, is that the right link? It all looked very narrow and cramped on Erykah's mobile phone pic. I'd very much liked to have been there. ETA Rosie the next link takes me to Facebook and your log in and they're asking for your password. ;D

.. got in about 4pm UK time - been asleep for a lot since. I have to work tomorrow and teach, but am off Thursday so should be able to get on with pics then. Right now I dont know which way is up hardly... cursed jet-lag! Like others, I too took loads of pics of everyone with James on Sunday, quite a few people that I didn't know, so they will all be posted on my flickr page so you can take any picture of yourself with James from there - as I say - will probably be on Thursday now. And I thank the many many people who took pictures of me with James on Sunday - I'm usually behind the camera and I was last to go forward for a picture and few words on Sunday - and everyone seemed to have their camera pointed at us!! - gave me a tiny taste of what it must be like to be James sometimes! And what I've seen so far is great! Any pictures you have will be gratefully recieved - I thank you! I obviously have my own thoughts on the weekend - right now I need to get them sorted. Everyone has their own opinions about it and I do understand that some people will have been very disappointed and upset and angry about the happenings at the event (Im very much on the "he's human and needed to vent" camp)- but the biggest shame to me is that it seems to have completely overshadowed James's performance in SSTC throughout the week -whihc was bloody wonderful and just got better with each performance! I loved the play far more than I thought I would and I got to love it even more with each performance as I heard new things (though James did say that they were changing it slightly every night and it was interesting hearing when they did add or delete some dialogue) the cast were superb - I was still giggling on the fifth performance - Rosalind Ayres was just fantastic - comic timing to perfection! I just adored James doing his incredibly convincing stutter and then being all suggestive with Joanne Whalley and making all the appropriate faces - especially the one when he sudenly noticed the "barmaid" - head tilt and that look of absolute wonder. Though my favourite part was him doing the 5 different voices for the five old ladies in the club - I looked forward to it every night and even though it normally only got a little laugh, it always reduced me to complete giggles. Can't wait to hear the recording!

Good report Rosie. What's everybody getting in a stew about now? There's always something.

Still the same of course. There seems to be a bit of a pissing contest going on amongst certain fans to see who can be most offended by James's behaviour on Saturday. Others are far more laid back - he's human, he was at the end of his tether after a draining performance and obviously is having stress at home - so are far more forgiving. The venue proved to be far from ideal, though whether that is poor organisation or the restaurant promising far more than they could deliver and playing down the negative aspects - like the kitchen entrance being slap in the middle of the room we were in. (which is v common apparently from someone who organises a lot of these types of things - they will say anything to ghet the business. Apparently the restaurant manageress was asked by the first people there where James was going to be performing and she said " he's going to sing??" so that tells you something...). And of course the ones who are the loudest and most condemning and disgusted all seem to be people who weren't actually there.. James was a bit of an asshole. He freely admits that and he apologised for it on Sunday to as many people as he could and said he would put something on the website. Lessons were learned. That should be the end of it.

He's been a one of them before, he's a fella! ;D What was so bad about this time? His mouthing off at the venue? I don't think that's so bad.

Ah , but they've scrutinised all the reports Rosie so their opinion must be heard , and it seems clear to them from these reports ,that this should have been done , that should have been changed and James quite probably should have whistled Dixie whilst sweeping the floor with a broom up his arse Everyone who actually attended will have a different viewpoint because we none of us see , or experience things exactly the same way ,and that's perfectly fine for anyone who's views are not coloured by feelings of resentment , jealousy or downright bitterness towards other fans , and towards James and either his management or fiancee . Unfortunately , there are a few 'fans' for whom this is their raison d'etre ..they enjoy venting their spleen because they seem to have fuck all else in their lives that give them pleasure

I'll admit to not being there and reading the reports...I also have a friend who has been an avid James fan far longer than I have... agreed that everyone will and dose have a different perspective on events we don't see or hear everything that goes on. I'm not going to repeat what she told me, except to say that there are things that everyone seems to be leaving out or avoiding...and those are what really upset her.

I haven't gone into detail about how I saw what happened yet - but I wasn't aware that anything hasn't been said by anyone yet. Maybe what she thinks is being avoided isnt, because to people who have expressed an opinion so far, it isn't that important.
(And to clarify, Im not saying that her opinion isn't important - just that everyone has different perspectives and feelings and what is upsetting to one person doesn't even register with another)

Ok - slightly OT - but dont know where else to put it - pics from the lunch with Nick Brendan on Friday. I went for fun, I wasn;'t really bothered either way - but it was very enjoyable - he has an odd off-the-wall sense of humour which rather tickled me! www.flickr.com/photos/wrigglerosie/sets/72157624349798026/(edited today for at least 3 spelling mistakes - jeg lag is a bitch!)

He didnt actually go to James's event (though Magie did invite him!) but it was organised to coincide as there was a large percentage of James fans in the area - only sorted it out a few weeks ago. 25 of us and it was good fun - just all round entertaining! Hopefully, now I have edited all the pics of James last night and jet lag not withstanding - I should be able to post them all tonight when I get home!!
