The WB's description: CLARK LOSES HIS POWERS AND BEGINS A RELATIONSHIP WITH LANA — Jor-El strips Clark (Tom Welling) of his powers, making him human. Delighted to finally be “normal,” Clark pursues a relationship with Lana (Kristin Kreuk) sans secrets. However, after Lana, Jonathan (John Schneider) and Martha (Annette O’Toole) are taken hostage by three thugs, Clark must figure out how to save his family without his super powers. Michael Rosenbaum, Allison Mack, John Glover and Erica Durance also star. Steven S. DeKnight wrote the episode directed by Terrence O’Hara. With a wee pic of JM from ep 1, too

Well I was gonna post in Prattle, but it's closed and I keep waiting for new thread... and none... So anyway, it's Smallville time! I'm exhausted, so I may not get any media up tonight for you all sorry. But fuck who knows. ---- Episode done. No James. My episode summary: Crazy dudes (main guy is Lem on FX's "The Shield") hold Clarks loved one hostage until Clark brings back some kind of serum. Clark defeats him with his wits and saves the day. Clark and Lana lose their virginity to each other. No real trailer for next ep, just the general scenes from this season we've already seen.

OK, I watched this ep, plus last week and the week before. How come I somehow missed that Clark was human again? I mean last week, I saw him tell his parents he was human, but then suddenly he was back in Anartica or where ever with that chick in the hospital and then running off like the wind (powers seemingly intact). I guess I have to go back and watch the first ep again, cause I'm pretty confused.
I like seeing James in the ending clips though. ;D

Guide's Watercooler reviewSmallville Well, well, well, those randy little devils. The big story: In the final moments of the episode, Clark and Lana get down and dirty and give in to the throes of love. How Harlequin Romance of me, right? Anyway, I've been inspired to make some observations and yes, possibly even a confession or two.
1) I guess Powerless Clark is free to go gaga over Lana as much as he wants. But does he have to do it in front of Chloe? That Kent boy can be so insensitive sometimes. 2) Kenny Johnson plays that silly Electro dude who breaks out of Bellerive with the Powder twins. I love, love, love me some Kenny Johnson. Seriously. Many of you know him as "Lemonhead" on FX's The Shield but (Confession No. 1) I used to watch him on Pensacola: Wings of Gold. Please keep that between you and me. I have a rep to protect. 3) Clark tells a shocked Chloe that Pete knows about his powers. That makes me happy. I'm a freak — this, I know. 4) Confession No. 2: When Mr. "I'm in Love" tells Ms. Thang she's the only one he's ever loved, my heart sank a little for Chloe. I've kinda jumped on the Clark-Chloe bandwagon. Let me tell you, I never thought that would happen. 5) The black hole that exists between Lex and Clark is getting wider and wider. These two are slowly becoming ex-BFF's. Boooo! (Inevitable, but boooo!) 6) No James Marsters. Whatsupwitdat? 7) Confession No.3: After Clark and Chloe talked about last week's big bads looking for Kal-El, raise your hand if you wanted to direct them to Nicolas Cage's house. — Bettina Charles

LOL..raises hand too ;D So, I'm wearing my Superman T ( unfortunately already dropped apple pie filling down it ) and I've just watched 'Mortal' Not bad ...not the most exciting of eps until the bare knuckle spat between Lex and Clark before Clark goes off to boff Lana ;D Turns out naughty Lex had a hand in the escape of Electrodude and the Gollum twins just to test his theory that Clark is invulnerable ...just as C has lost his powers * spanks Lex * Q. How come Jonathon got up and whacked Electrodude after his dodgy ticker was zapped ? Curse Al Gough and Miles Miller...I'm starting to quite like Chloe She seems less annoying now Clark knows that she knows he's Super ;D

Whoa, Lex was looking hot in this ep You guys are pushing him towards the dark side, tsk. Show a little tenderness, don't slug him! And I guess we have to let Clana have their fun for now, but it's a bit of a waste of time, IMO.
