I was never a fan of Elvis or his style of music - and as he was a fantasy figure and we never caught a glimpse of the real guy until his death he can sit in this thread quite easily! - but I have to say, when he was younger he was revolutionary in style and drive. And hot damn, he was sex personified. Pity too many people only remember the VegasBloat years.

We have the A-Z of Men in the Fun and Games section. Thus thread was supposed to be about the characters we fell for, not the real people, and also our first crushes not recent ones I remembered another one last night - the smooth dark one, in the tight 60s suit (this is becoming a theme with me!) in the Champions. What the devil was his name? Craig?

Hmmm first crushes let me see. Troy Tempest, Scott from Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet yeah I loved them. Oliver Tobias was cute in a rugged kinda way but I think I preferred him in The Stud Loved Jason Connery in Robin of Sherwood, but one of my all time faves is Tucker/ Todd Carty from Grange Hill and then his own show Tuckers Lot.

My, my..first crush...well it would have to be Davy Jones of The Monkees of course and the first concert I ever went to as well...me all decked out in my virginal pink polka-dotted poofy sleeved dress with matching 2 toned pink pumps. Still have the full attire as well as pieces of a flash cube that took his picture...didn't have my own camera ya see...what can I say, I was a pre-teen. Wrote my first stories about him. Had him plastered all over my walls with a very special pic of him (in shiek's clothing) at just the right height to give him a smooch before each bed time. Yes, NN, this is when I discovered I could 'serial' dream and write the story down each morning after it had unfolded each night. Course, sigh, wasn't long before I outgrew him...literally... ...at 13 and 5'5" I was already above him, lol. Then came Michael Cole of the The Mod Squad...dark broody sort of chap...but he was sooooooooooo sensitive! Wrote a story about him as well. Course, they weren't too sexy as I wasn't 'broken' in at the time either. Then many many years later, it was Don Johnson of Miami Vice. Dangerous, sexy and broody, sensitive again. Wrote 2 scripts and even registered them with the writer's guild. Never finished the 2nd one cos I got involved with getting pregnant. Oddly enough, they ended up doing a segment with the same title...not the same storyline however. And then for a bit there was Kevin Costner...til he turned into a cheating sot and wasn't even worth fantasizing about...I do have my standards ya know! And then all the fires inside died until one day I stumbled upon this very bizarre bleached blond punky looking character.... And I look back, and they were all quite different looking and I kept wondering how I could be attracted to such an array...can't make my mind up...and then the similarity hit me...they were all very passionate!

Let's see... First one ever was Leo D'Caprrio from Titanic. I was young and stupid. Then Pke from Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie (don't know his real name). Third was Arlian, a charactor from my favorite book, Dragon Weather by Lawrence Watt-Evans. Sad, I know. Then it was the brown haired human from Planet of the Apes. Totally hot. Jeremy Sumpter from Peter Pan (the newer movie) Angel Spike Now my heart belongs to my boyfriend, Ryan.

Wow, you all made me remember so many people I had totally forgotten about. When I was younger, I loved blondes, but as I got older, I liked dark curly haired men with blue eyes . . . wait, that sounds familiar . . . Oh, right, my husband has dark curly hair and blue eyes!! (See, I wasn't even talking about James!!) So in no particular order, I liked (the characters or the people) the little blonde kid on Sigmund and the Seasmonsters, and Jack Wild from Puffinstuff, Scott Baio, Kirk Cameron, Tom Baker, Brendan Fraser (I always seem to have an urgent desire to have sex everytime I see a Brendan Fraser movie!), Billy Joel, Paul Michael Glaser. There's so many more, but I can't think and type fast enough. I also generally ended up having crushes on all the geeky guys, like Potsie on Happy Days or Gopher on the Love Boat, Xander, Giles. Of course once Spike came along, all bets were off with Buffy characters.

Oh yeah, he was one of mine too. But damn, you've got me singing the song in my head now. ;D
I didn't really fancy him, but I did have a soft spot for Potsie as well.

I reading back about the lack of Elvis love. I don't know, but whenever I think of Elvis I tend to remember the cute young guy who starred in all those really bad 60's movies like Girls! Girls! Girls!, Fun in Acapulco, Blue Hawaii, Roustabout. They were all almost exactly the same, sometimes the girl changed, but who really noticed?! I was never in love with him like my friend Angel (he is still her big main crush), but I do love really bad movies, especially if there's singing. Its a sickness.

*snort* aww you gotta love a little spaniel though lol The only Dylan I know is from the Magic Roundabout, and I doubt that's who you are thinking of Pix. I used to get annoyed at Zebedee always sending everyone to bed..... ;D ;D

Naw, definitely not the Dylan from the Magic Roundabout. Loved that programme, though - but yeah, Zebedee was blinking annoying!! ;D
