Hey, I only said I'd buy it so she took pics for us! Snow, come here to be Sean has a huge fanclub at BS already Ditto, no need to flee! Checking in to accept my well-deserved , lol. Thanks for that camera thingie, PK , I didn't even know that they make disposable cameras I'm blissfully ignorant when it comes to technical stuff. And I did take pictures. Like, three. Maybe four. Sorry, it's just that a) I hate to have my own picture taken so much that I just don't want to do such a horrible thing to anybody else and b) taking pictures? at a concert? at THAT concert? I was way too busy listening (and obviously, according to some people here, "grooving") Read the report at MTS. Can't really say much about the sound, it seemed fine to me most of the time. I found James' voice was a bit hard to understand during some songs (Runaway for example), and Charlie's one finger piano solo during Katie I didn't hear at all. A couple that was sitting next to me during the Special Audience yesterday complained about the sound as well. I guess it depended on where you stood. Sean is an absolute sweetheart. Gotta go, parents want to see me and learn about Berlin. Ditto, glad you and sisters obviously found another internet café. Have a safe trip home! Catch you all tomorrow. Luv Sno

You could have used it at the Audience though These guys live to have their pics taken! It does seem true, although such a pity, that the sound quality varies at every venue depending on where your vantage point is.

So there must obviously be something wrong with me .... JM is playing and hour 1/2 away and I scoffed at the $255 price tag for that show. I love him but I gotta draw the line, and pay the mortgage. Hope others will be available for the Poconos gig in June. all you overe seas peeps... keep us posted. just an FYI- every German I have known ( and I've know MANY ) has never had a problem with how fast Yanks talk.

It might have been the mic, rather than the speed with which they were speaking (is that okay grammar?) Anyhow, we're English and we couldn't understand them sometimes, just catching the ends of James' sentences. Sno, so happy to hear you're home okay. We had a great day today. We got that yellow tram all by ourselves!!! Except we didn't pay! There wasn't a conductor so we just got off. We meant to pay honest. Then we went to AlexanderPlatz and had beer in a kellar and I bought trainers which I luv. Also cakes which weighed a ton! Then we were gonna go on a tour bus but we ran out of Euros. Except when we got on airport bus it took us all round Berlin anyway! Oh and we nearly had a disaster! We went in a department store, very nice and bright with escalators, but coming down Daf's long skirt (she's going for the Wicca look lately) got caught in the moving step thingies and she quickly dragged it out but only by skin of teeth. She would have had to step out of skirt in the middle of the store! Me and Deb couldn't walk for laughing. Then on way to airport we saw the internet cafe and made the driver stop but he kept shouting snell at us except Deb and Daf didn't know what he was on about. They have very nice ice cream and coffee in Berlin internet cafes. I shall be going back next year. See you Thursday Sno, have a safe journey over.

just an FYI- every German I have known ( and I've know MANY ) has never had a problem with how fast Yanks talk. Must be just me then because man do I do have problems with it, lol. Serious, witchwolf, you're right of course, there's lots of germans who're pretty good in English. But believe me, there's also the kind like me that isn't and keeps asking "huh? huh? What'd he say? Huh?" So folks, please bear with me in London. Nothing wrong with you, witchwolf. 255 $ is definitely something I wouldn't pay for a concert either. PK, I think I DID take another picture during the Special Audience ;D. Aren't I a good girl? *runs from PK's whip* Ditto, SO glad you got around in Berlin and back home alright. LOL at the bus story. Given how much money they currently spend in Berlin on all those huge construction sites I don't think missing out on your sightseing fee will exactly ruin the city of Berlin . And poor Daphne. I can just picture the three of you on the escalator... I'm so exhausted (both physically and emotionally), I could probably sleep for a week. But alas, no time. Gotta go packing for London. Can't wait for Friday! ;D

$255 is the price tag for the show. ( Moonlight Rising in the Pocono's)$215 to walk in the doors of the convention and you must have a convention pass to be able to go to the concert which is an additional $40. I tried to just get concert ticks but "no" I'll save my $$$ and just hop a red-eye to London in August for the Halloween party. ;D I might brave NYC, still up in the air about it. oh and Snow- after reading the way I worded my last comment it might have come across rough- just that I got badgered on not speaking English ( I was speaking American) 'cause some spoke English faster then a Boston CEO!!! I'm so glad we get to live vicariously thru ya'll.

oh and Snow- after reading the way I worded my last comment it might have come across rough It didn't, luv . And after last weekend and listening to a dozend of DGs chatting to each other in as many different dialects I'm perfectly clear about my lack of language skills again. As Az has put it: "She's not really silent - she just doesn't understand." ;D Got that one right, honey. For me it's a bit of relief to see that sometimes even the British have problems with American accents. Or the other way around, as James and the guys had to ask back several times during their Q&As. Makes you feel a bit better about yourself. Looking forward to meeting you at Halloween . I really hope they'll work something out - with or without DB. If so, I'll be there.
