Toy says 3rd July is her birthday... what better present can there be than a cuddle as you get your pic taken with James!
How far is Adelaide from Melbourne? Geography not a strong point!
Are there any other Aussies on the board? (I thought there were...)
PK's Rule of Cons - book your ticket and to hell with the money. Then worry about the hotel and transport costs later! Apparently the tickets for this event are non-refundable if you can't go (which is usual), BUT are transferable, so you would be able to offload the ticket if you really couldn't go. Folks would need to check out their terms and conditions for details.
July - is that your winter? So, cool? Plane journey is a bitch though... lol, no, I'm not THAT crazy....

You're def going then?! Have you downloaded the order form? I am surprisingly excited for you guys! And it's always good to have an on-the-spot Spiker for reportage and pics! I keep telling myself it takes a whole goddamn day to get to Australia... if I was fit, I'd go crazy, and do it! So greedy! And I love travelling (in theory. In practice now, not so much!)

I've downloaded the form and am talking to SF as we speak. I'm going whether or not D wants to go or not. Like I said, I'm going to have to beg, steal and borrow to do it but who gives a ferret's anus right? ;D

Or even a weasel's! Absolutely! And without wishing to be mean, unless D is a Buffy fan himself, you'll have a better time without him! You meet people real easily at these things and just about everyone is nice!
Hey, I see that they will be screening Chance on the Saturday night... I'd love to watch it with a bunch of folks!

I haven't seen chance yet so it will be triple the excitement. SF might be going so that will be nice. You know a friendly face and all that. I was thinking maybe D would fly over and go to the footy for the day and find a pub at night and I could just meet him afterwards!

Sounds like a plan, although the gabbing and the boozingsocialising tends to go on way into the wee small hours, if you have the stamina!

Stamina! I'm made of the stuff if it involves socialising and drinking Rang D this morning, he doesn't want to go but might come over for the footy, depending on work etc. I told him I was def going and his remark was "I know you are, you're obsessed!" LMAO It now looks like there will be 4 of us going ;D Me, Sarahfan and a husband and wife that we met at the Buffy Meetup.

Excellent! Do you visit other boards, like Marsters of Oz? I bet there'll be high excitement there about it, and might give you some more people to look out for.
