Some actors take their soap roles too seriously! You should remind him he was written out of Benders years ago

Sorry gels, I've just come in here for a moan Physio doesn't think he can do anymore for me So I've to go see the doctor and see about an MRI to see how damaged my lumber facet/nerves are, then depending on the results I might have to get surgery However if this does happen he told me it may help my leg, but I would still have back pain Personally at this moment I'm just thinking, keep giving me the meds and I'll hobble around as usual Apologies, rant over

It's all still sounding very frustrating for you Teebs If only you could be given a 'cure all' treatment. I'm sorry that you will be waiting on more tests, decisions etc. Long may the meds work

That would be great Pluto and not just for myself the upside of all this means I don't have to have any more acupuncture ;D Not too sure yet Deb, maybe the doc will come up with something else although I can't get in to see her till the 22nd

The pincushion treatment wasn't doing anything for you anyhoo. Just see what the MRI shows up then discuss the op again if necessary. If it's still 'may' help one but not t'other then you know what you want, but keep an open mind for now

Yeah, and I'm thinking I have one. I'm not a hypo so something is definitely amiss.

My aunt had a duodenal ulcer for years, she always had tummy troubles. She had an op I think and no trouble since.

Depends what kind it is, the bacterial one you get meds.

you must get it checked out PK - the sooner its sorted the better you will feel there are very good meds for the bacterial kind and its a simple blood test for that

I know Deb has had an ulcer... anyone else? What were the symptoms that drove you to the doc? Pain Heartburn Blood where no blood should be Oh yeah and getting so anemic I passed out ;D One bleeding ulcer caused by taking anti inflammatory meds after a fall Treatment... 6 very small bland meals a day Iron I had a blood test to rule out heliobactor pylori infection first because if it's that then you still get the 6 small bland meals a day and the iron but you get antibiotics too You only need surgery if the ulcer perforates Get thee to a physician!

My meals are pretty bland as it is, fitting in 6 would be hard!
Indigestion and heartburn, burning but short-lived pain, all mostly at night and worse when I lie on my side (getting squished!).
Heyho...

Sounds like Gastric reflux You could probably do with some antacids but should get checked. The meals are things like a pot of yoghurt , a cube of cheese, a small jacket potato a handful of almonds It was the no coffee, no tea, no chocolate no , smoking , no wine very little fruit bit that caused me most problems
