Hmm, I thought we had a thread for this but obviously not! Anyway, House on Haunted Hill is airing ion the UK on Channel 5 on Friday 3rd December at 10-05 pm. James is famously only in it (as a camerman) for the first ten minutres, so if you really aren't into somewhat camp, arch horror flicks, you can finish watching before the movie takes off in this vein. Me, I don't dislike the movie nearly as much as some people do. I do think it has some merit. But James is a delight as ever. Well lit, outdoors for a lot of his brief appearance, wonderfully expressive face

I'm afraid the movie is deeply of the doo doo kind Dee ;D Even Jeffrey Rush can't save it.....the first 10 minutes is pretty good though I think it could have been a good film....everyone was obviously told to overact madly....I don't think it knew whether it was a comedy or horror film, and as such failed miserably on both counts

I live in a telecommunciations Bermuda Triangle of Crapness but my C5 pic is excellent (I had a special aerial installed to get it when I moved in. Wouldn't get it at all otherwise : . If you visit a few James-related boards you will see the movie almost universally panned, but I view these types of movies in the spirit I reckon they were intended, and I enjoyed it on a number of levels. James' part of the movie is totally unlike the rest of it anyway so whatever you think of it as a whole, it shouldn't spoil your viewing pleasure. And James does panic very well

Just a quick reminder for the Brits. The film is on TONIGHT at 10-05 ETA - Ooh, I'd forgotten how much I liked the opening credits.... so sue me, naysayers! And it has to be of the good to see James' name at the start of a movie Yay, and here he is, walking backwards, lol! Going up. "What the hell was that?" Yeah, get your priorities right, grab your camera. Panic! Oh, doh! Ride the ride! OMG, I forgot how he says "OH!" *ahem, hot flush* Screaming with enjoyment, screaming with terror. That's all folks ;D

Oh he was soooo cute in the film. I taped the first ten minutes but didn't bother with the rest. Nothing at all to do with being shit scared or anything The opening scenes with the doctors doing unspeakable things freaked me out, so James's bit was just 'what the doctor ordered'!! PK the falling snowflakes are lovely, very festive.

Hm, wouldn't mind hearing him scream... *ahem* did I really just say that out loud?! I don't like horror-type films, though, I'm a scaredy cat... is it seriously worth getting it just for the 1st 10 mins?

Oooh James! ;D He was hidden behind the camera for too long, then he was great at being scared as the elevator fell, then really looked like he was having a good time on the roller coaster (until the car in front of him flew off the track and he went back to terrified lol), then his part was over. And oh bugger, it's been edited for language.
