I've got it on my 'to buy' list, along with 'Chance', but can't afford to get them yet. Maybe at the festive season... rellies sometimes give me money, so could get them as a pressie to myself! I agree about the snuffle, PK, sometimes, you've just gotta do it. Big box of tissues, choc chip cookie ice cream and a bottle of red wine and equally friend often helps, too. I love crying over good films. Odd, innit?

I liked it, she was good as well, Rod's ex. He's gorgeous in it of course, James..... All dark and brooding. Not very believable though, who'd give him up?! No way José. ;D

Yes Winding Roads is a film that you can't even take to the characters, even James's character(ok james as usual was cute but argh slap him awake , I would have kicked him out as well (run for the hill gal)he never seamed to connect to her it was a bit stilted to me you didn't seam to get the full story of all their lives and I couln't understand how the two friends couldn't see the other friends hurt or even try to help her (I don't want to say what happened for if some one hasn't seen it

The couple had clearly been drifting aimlesly, if comfortably enough, in their relationship without having the courage or impetus to do anything about it. It was partly Billy's mother fixation that did it for me; boys and their mothers scare me to death!
But also his lack of ambition and understanding that people might want different things and you need to TALK! She was as bad, but at least she took action. (and I loved her mosaic art!)
People can get too wrapped up in their own humdrum lives and are unable to see through the masks of their friends to the real pain beneath, so that aspect of the movie rang true to me.

I still haven't seen this movie, although I've been to the website once or twice and nearly bought it, but having no VCR now I didn't bother I keep wondering if it's worth buying it and then having to buy a new VCR just to see it Knowing me I probably will in the end

You've seen it now teebs, so what did you think?
The movie is having lots of screenings in January, but I'm guessing this is a pretty obscure network?

Oh yeh, I was supposed to post my thought's on it wasn't I It was a good enough movie, but it was a bit slow gotta agree with other's JM's character needed a good kick up the backside and you could see why his g/f dumped him, no motivation in life whatsoever At times though I actually felt sympathy for Rachel Hunters character, although she was rather selfish.

She should have had counselling (as should her partner) instead of never talking about it. I was quite surprised at how convincing she was, to me at least.

Showtime has many different kinds of channels, and this is one. It's available to digital customers in my area. Channel lineup here. Scroll down to "Premiums" and you'll find it's channel 387.

Ah, but do you get it Cy? I remember when it was being shown fairly regularly by Lifetime Movie Network, and you only got Lifetime. One of these days you'll get to see the frustrating but cute Billy. Oh, and look, reading back I see teebee made her Spikeless! debut on this thread

I could but I don't... too lazy to get digital (even though I could get it for free + like $2.08 a month for converter rental), and I'm not sure how much those premium channels cost... I think the Showtime thing is somewhere around $13 a month, and I wouldn't use it. I could, however, now with my employee stuff get the digital I mentioned above, which would get me the Lifetime Movie Network... *shrug* maybe I might eventually get a digital box...
