Greetings. There has been a lot of shifting about here today to try and even out the work load between old and new parts, and up and down, of the building. I am now upstairs in the new hall, which has some pros but also cons. Larger bathrooms, which are actually en suite shower rooms, and slightly larger rooms in general. But my room is at the front so facing a new estate and with the A38 going passed. Also a different style of bed which can't take a bed handle which I rely on for getting in and out, and somehow my frame has disappeared in the transfer.
Ditto, which telly did you mean? My home big smart telly is in storage, the smaller one I bought in my first week here is now back in its box down the side of the wardrobe and I have a large one of theirs on the wall.

Hey! We had another unexpected Gabe day...his school shut down the middle and high school for today because there were so many sports activities requiring school staff! Seems like a crazy way to run a school, but Gabe was a very happy guy! And yes, he is like most teenagers, loves video games, but has real issues initiating conversations, and does not do easy chatter like you hear most teens do. He prefers to be on his own, and that's kinda weird for the average teen, but he's not average since he has Asperger's. He's a good hearted guy though, and will always try things we suggest, and enjoys our movie times. Today B had him drill a couple of holes for a ceiling board, and then drill some screws in. Lol, he did just that, said that's fun, and went back to his room. Ditto, that author is Charlaine Harris, my phone seems to have a mind of its own, and kept putting in Charmaine, lmao! And the first book is Grave Sight, not Grave Secret, and it's as Rainbow says, all four in the series have Dead in the title. I hope you enjoy it, I think you can get the gist of her story in any of the books, cos they do mention some back story! PK, I'm curious, too...did you ask for a room change or are they moving everyone around? I hope they find your walker, know you rely on it. How will you manage without the bed lift? Is all this relocating part of the reason they are not quite up to par food and med wise? Rainbow, can't you make an appointment ahead of time with your doctor, like for next week? Or is it just same day appointments? The Hair play should be fun! Many...many years ago, it came to NO and we went to go see it! Don't remember a thing about it! I started another series by Charlaine Harris (love her books) based on Manfred Bernardo from the above series...remember him, the psychic with the psychic grandmother, Xyilda? The first one is Midnight Crossroad, and they've actually made a series based on it. I'm going to try to find it on Netflix. Deedee, you are really good at info finding...think I said that already, lol, but it's true! Hope you have a good weekend! Pluto, big weekend, I hope you and Howie have a good time together, you always look like you do. I'm looking forward to some pics on FB! Teebs, that program sounds like it would be fun since it's your area...lol, usually when they do New Orleans things we tend to look like voodoo following, hard partying, swamp dwelling crazies! Mardi Gras is always a cringe worthy view cos they tend to focus on the 'boob baring' for beads crazy ladies, and just what they'll do for beads. The funny things is...yeah, it's a thing...and guys get into it, too, especially with so many gay clubs on Bourbon, they will bare their danglies for beads...and it ain't a pretty sight, roflmao! But there's the family oriented areas, too, that evens things out! I tried my hand at a French apple pie today, and it was pretty good...Pillsbury crust, and sliced apples! and raisins! Made a simple icing on it, too, cos B insisted it wasn't French apple without it!

Good Morning, damp and dreary day here and looks set for the weekend PK the new room sounds good apart from the view and the bed. I hope they can change it back to your old one. Rather a lack of thought from the staff. I know from my mum's perspective how important it is to have the right bed and one that gives independence Teebs I recorded the program but watched some of it. Such beautiful scenery and gorgeous river M, you and B do such a good job with giving Gabe opportunities plus his own space. The school situation does sound odd though I'm all for sport opportunities in school. DeeDee, you really do have excellent travel planning skills. I leave all that to Howie. He's very good at getting bargain train tickets in advance. Running later!

morning, quiet on here yesterday compared to some days. Hope everyone is Ok Have a fabulous Sunday everyone, hope you have a bed you c a n get out of now PK! I think there are 2 series of Midnight Crossing Marilyn. The actors are not at all how l pictured the characters though and it doesn't stick to the books at all but as a standalone series is good Sorry about your money woes Ditto, sounds really embarrassing so not surprised you couldn't stand up for yourself 're what to put back Not sure if we are out for lunch today. The weather is awful so plans to sort the garage will have to be postponed. S's granddaughters are coming for a sleepover tonight but hopefully not too early Have fun Pluto

Hello everyone. Tricky start to the day. I got really upset with my mum's card because dad's name wasn't on it. It took me by surprise but it's those 'firsts' you experience during the year after bereavement Foul weather here but we made it to Camden. I bought a lovely Spring jumper and Howie got me a second hand leather jacket. A bargain at Β£12! Ditto, so sorry about your horrible shopping experience Sometimes humour helps in those situations. PK I hope tonight is an easier night for you. Back to our Doctor Who marathon now

Evening. I've just been watching a +1-ed Endeavour so am on here fashionably late.
Glad to hear that you have had a good weekend and birthday Pluto.
Very sorry to hear about your shopping misadventure Ditto. But the staff will be used to this sort of thing and fellow customers could have moved if they objected.
No chance of a change of bed, frame hunt or even sorting out the heating over the weekend πΎ

Good Morning PK I hope there will be more staff around to get your bed sorted today! I'm looking forward to catching up with Endeavour when I am home. Ditto, what a worry H is I hope she can be reassured and persuaded. Rainbow it will be early dinner with the girls, not lunch. I'm not even dressed yet and need to shop on the way home. Hope work is not too stressful today. At least we have Southampton to look forward to.

Sounds like a good start to your day Pluto πΊ
The only thing that has been sorted here so far today has been the hunt for my favourite bra and a black sweater, safely returned from the laundry staff.
