Good morning Teebs, sorry you had a bad weekend. I hope the upcoming one is better for you Ditto, I know what you mean about the hard towels, you can get a really good rub down with them DeeDee, lots of great advice here about the bed and sleeping M, I guess Gabe is a typical teenager, wanting to do his own thing Well done on having to loiter and be helpful for B. It can be a tad boring but like you say, it saves him going up and down the ladder which is tedious in itself!. PK, how is the working out? Have you been able to get out in the grounds at all during this sunny spell? Rainbow, good luck with stronger painkillers. I hope the film was good. Many people from work there? I still have the remnants of a cough but have decided to go back tomorrow, even if it's just half a day. I'm not in on Monday so it's a long weekend anyway.

Hello all. It's now M, it's flowering like mad. I'm amazed, I usually kill of houseplants or they survive but hang on for grim death looking weedy and wan.

Cute pics Ditto. Reading back you asked how come I was in Worcester. When I left sixth form I was fed up with studying even though I had a place for a history degree in Chester. Took a gap two years instead, most of it in Stratford on Avon so that I could go to the theatre a lot. Was a guide at Anne Hathaway's Cottage to finance this. So when I felt ready to get back into education I chose Worcester for my degree as it is only about 45 minutes away by the road. That made a short story very long! 😸 I don't know where the new manager found the big telly but the one I was watching is the one I had to buy when I got here as they couldn't find a spare Crikey Rainbow, that water meeting electrics business sounds like you dodged a worse shock! I had a bad morning today, my hands would barely work, but improved as the day went on. Standards here seem to be slipping, always short staffed and the food going from plentiful and varied to mediocre small portions. Well, that's one way to subsidise the new block I suppose, it still has only three residents. Not impressed.

Good morning Lovely piccies Ditto I'm so glad you enjoyed that book. I now talk about 'the lovely cup of tea' all the time. PK, do the residents have regular meetings with the staff? I know they do at mum's place, not that she attends because she can't hear. I did see the last minutes though and meals were an item! They do to get their act together! Must get on!

I got through the day though it turned much longer than I had planned. Glad I went in though and I will be much less stressed when I return on Tuesday!
Cold sores are awful and painful Ditto. I always carry the cream with me but haven't had any for ages. Hope you don't suffer too much.
Time to relax now Rainbow

Hey!
I’m not doing anything very interesting, still helping B with the kitchen, one more day should do it. Next is painting the walls, they look really shabby next to the white tiles! My little sis called to say her crew wasn’t going to Gatlinburg as there’s the possibility of snow, and definitely cold temps. As you can imagine, we southerners do not handle cold well, and def not snow! So they are going to Vicksburg, which is closer, and going to do some antebellum home tours, and hiking. Lol, those are old southern plantations, but a drop in the bucket timewise to your history! 😎 B and I are going for a couple of days on the Gulf coast again.
Pluto, I’m glad you were well enough to make the whole day...now you can enjoy an extended birthday weekend!
PK, is there a reason things fluctuate so much there? Somebody go on vacation, lol?? Any promising flats to look check out?
Rainbow, did you ever get an appointment with the doctor? I hope you have a good weekend, too!
Ditto, made a library run lately? With all the books I have waiting to be read on my Kindle, I’ve been rereading a short paranormal series by Charmaine Harris, about a girl who was struck by lightning and can now find the dead and see how they died. She travels around helping locate and/or find out how someone died. Really good, always a mystery involved! First one is Grave Secret...
DeeDee, do you find you sleep better or feel better if you actually go to bed? Sleep patterns are hard to change, aren’t they?!
Teebs, I hope your weekend is an improvement over last week! Any plans?
Take care all...hugs!

Good morning and happy St David's Day M, what time of year are Cindy and family coming back over here? Could be chilly lol! Are you doing the Gulf coast this weekend? That book series sounds interesting but as it's Charlaine Harris does she have the word Grave in every title like the she has has the word Dead in her True Blood books. My fave author Peter James has Dead in all his titles too. I find it really confusing to remember what I have read and what comes next!!! Hope you get the GP appointment Rainbow. Have a good shop today. We have ballet first thing then I have a friend coming at 1.00 to help with some sorting out. She's requested music and cake Both are in hand. Also need to get a visit to my mum in. I have something she will love to see: I have been part of a cohort study that covers people born in a week in March 1958 and the Child Development Study have put together a beautiful hard back book to celebrate us all turning 60 last year. There is even a quote from me in it. They send a birthday card every year too. Have a good day everyone

Evening all 😄 Happy St Davids Day! Love the piccie of the cat Ditto, hope you managed to get the books you wanted 🤗 Nothing planned for the weekend M, but sometimes that’s when nice things happens so 🤞 😊 Glad you’re improving Pluto, but I hope you’re taking things easy. Have a lovely time with your friend 🤗 Rainbow you seem to be having a helluva time getting a GP appointment 😮 is it always like that? Does anyone watch the Susan Calman programme on BBC2 ? She’s travelling round different parts of Scotland finding hidden secrets or something, anyway she’s in our area tonight so that’ll be quite interesting 😀 PK I hope you’re okay and enjoying cake and watching your big 🤗

Teebs I can't find that programme listed at all I wonder if you get different ones in Scotland. Hope you enjoyed the library visit Ditto. Rainbow did you ring at 8.00? Hope you don't suffer too much whilst waiting. I had a good visit with mum and joined in the carpet bowls too. Mum loved seeing the book. I seem to have a sore throat this evening. Did sorting with my friend and were quite productive. Rainbow she wants me to book for Hair so has given me her money. I can only do it on the computer so shall try when A has gone up to bed.
