But remember her fight with Spike in "Crush" - she was no pushover by then. The crossbow in the back shouldn't have slowed him down, and her technique was well above hair pulling!

I thought it was a great ep. You finally get a sort of ep that you would of seen of seen on Buffy "The Zeppo" or "Real Me". And I thought it was cool that Spike was being nice to her in his "I don't really care but..." as my friend Jade puts it. You can tell that Wes is truely a ponce to Harmony.

You force me to expand my reaction - I actually thought most of the main characters were badly written in this episode... quite OUT of character, some of them. And PodSpike dropped in for the final scene. But I could care less about Harmony having a bad day. She was a spoilt and nasty girl as a human, and so she had a taste of her own medicine here, made to feel like an outsider and badly done to. But really, who gives a shit?! I'd prefer to see more of the regulars, find out hwat is making THEM tick. Wes is PIMPING Harmony? Uh... well, he got her the job.....

I can see I'm not going to fit in this group at all. I just liked the ep is all... Ok *note to myself, keep mouth shut*.
We don't all have to agree about everything. I disliked the ep, you liked it. We have both given some reasons. What's the problem? - PK

So you didn't like it then PK?? But you wasn't looking forward to it from when the 1st spoilers came out was you ?? I quite liked it I thought it was funny in places and the reason Spike gave for not going to Buffy was understandable if not altogether believable. I've gotta agree about some of the characters being a bit off though. I thought Angel was acting really strange definately stressed out which he doesn't usually do much of. And I still can't get used to Gunn being a the big brain and knowing all these demon languages. Which makes me wonder how long it took the writers to think this one up all the clicking and clucking was annoying. Oh and Phalon don't keep your mouth shut. We all have differing opinions on here. That's what makes it such a fun place to be. We're not all sheep, if that's what you're looking for you are in the wrong field.

I was quite worried about dear Broodie, in this one! He barely parted his lips so it was hard to tell what he was saying! I was wondering if he had lost a tooth or two, as well as James! His stress and surliness could have been largely due to the pent up panic and worry about the possibility of Spike and Buffy getting back together, and not just the stupid conference. I worry about Gunn too, because he is so darn appealing as a character these days they will probably off him. I can think of all manner of reasons why they could convince us Spike won't go to SuperBitch Buffy.... but the ones he was giving just didn't come off... and maybe it was the way James was delivering them...? He did put his swaggery Cockney accent on in part of the dialogue, which could have been a pointer that he was bluffing. But then he dropped it again so Do you know what I found to be the best bit of the whole episode? Angel's out-of-his-depth expressions in the corporate vid. ;D

I really liked him in the vid aswell he doesn't like the publicity stuff. The other part I liked with him was when Spike asked him if he wanted to tell Buffy anything and he said " Tell her you're a moron " sorry shouldn't laugh but I just found it funny. I thought they went to an awful lot of trouble with the demons in this episode it must of took a lot of work for the little time they were in it.

Yeah, trying to make us believe it was a better ep than it was! They were very colourful. The First Evil as Dru clicked at the ubervamp like they talked....

Yeah you're right she did, but she at least did it with style. It sounds a lot more believable when coming from a touched person.

The poll verdict for this ep was "Not bad. A decent filler ep" but I still maintain it was a horrible waste of time! Soul Purpose, bring it on!!
