to Dee Dee, know how hard it is! Have you been celebrating Big Momma's birthday? It's very unfair that everything that tastes nice is sooo bad for you! Be better next week

Crisps are evil DD ...I always used to have crisps with sarnies too, gave crisps the heave-ho and only have them occasionally now, but I tell you, whenever I put weight on its because I've been eating crisps Those new Quaker baked ones are very nice, and possibly not quite as bad for you

I didn't get weighed this morning as I knew it would depress me. I am suffering Big P bloat, and everything is wobbly and yucky

Yeh no point in getting down when it's just P bloat, when it's gone you'll find you've lost weight and be really happy ;D Sorry to hear you have the 'bloat' too Pix

I'm sceptical. Having lost so much weight last week, unexpectedly, I reckon I'll be very lucky to get away with even staying the same once the bloat has sailed off.

The Chocolate Diet
Chocolate is a vegetable;chocolate is derived from cocoa beans. Beans=vegetable. Sugar is derived from either sugar cane or sugar beet. Both are plants, which place them in the vegetable category. Thus, chocolate is a vegetable. To go one step further, chocolate candy bars also contain milk, which is dairy. So candy bars are a health food. Chocolate-covered raisins, cherries, orange slices and strawberries all count as fruit, so eat as many as you want. If you've got melted chocolate all over your hands, you're eating it too slowly. The problem; how to get two pounds of chocolate home from the store in a hot car. The solution; eat it in the parking lot. Diet tip; eat a chocolate bar before each meal. It'll take the edge off your appetite and you'll eat less. If I eat equal amounts of dark and white chocolate, is that a balanced diet? Don't they actually counteract each other? Chocolate has many preservatives. Preservatives make you look younger. Put 'eat chocolate' at the top of your list of things to do today. That way, at least you'll get one thing done. A nice box of chocolates can provide your daily intake of calories in one place. Now, isn't that handy? If not for chocolate, there would be no need for control top pantyhose. An entire garment industry would be devastated. You can't let that happen, can you?
REMEMBER; 'stressed' spelled backwards is 'desserts'.
Now go eat and enjoy ;D ;D

lol @ Rainbow posting in the wrong thread! ;D Now we know what we're aiming for at least... I've been very good today, and even yesterday the BIG meal wasn't too bad health-wise. Today I've had cereal for breakfast and dried apricots (unsulphured) as snacks, and couscous and chicken with apricot and almond tagine for lunch (but there's munchies with wine this afternoon). Yesterday, the big meal was a sort of salad starter (had bacon bits and a poached egg in it); lamb chops, roasted, with feta cheese on top, boiled new spuds and roasted mediterranean veg; fruit salad. Of course, I also had a little bread and butter, cheese and biscuits, and a couple of mint matchmakers with my (decaf) coffee...
