Union Chapel was a beautiful place, fantastic building, did anyone notice the ceiling? and you couldn't help but notice the stained glass windows. James of course was wonderful and Dan Akio was excellent. Now I have read some where that someone bought Dan Akio's CD was this at the concert does anyone know where I could get a copy as my sister is totally smitten.

Hi babybird, from what I can make out in the pics I've seen so far the chapel does look very lovely Dan Akio seems to have received a big thumbs up from everyone. If anyone knows where you can get his CD, do post here. More gig pics, from jmluvver4eva at CDS - scroll on down...

LOL...that ramp was certainly on the steep side , I hope I didn't scare K to death by yelling 'We have to take a run at it ' !

What can I say best gig of the week ;D ;D the acoustics were amazing and what a beautiful building. Dan Akio was great, and he's cute too I liked his style of music and he was quite witty too in between songs. I didn't manage to get one of his C.D's as I was too late because I needed my nicotine fix This was by far James' finest performance of the week ;D so smooth and warm jings the things his voice does to me Once again he was wearing a cardi when he came on and upon removing it I noticed he appears to be STILL wearing 'nicotine patches' , he mentioned something about wearing a tee with a 'honary lesbian' slogan on it but it gotten lost, pity that would have been hilarious ;D Obviously the set list was similar to the previous gigs, but was much , much better. I forgot to mention I absolutely loved the way he performed 'Civilized Man' this time round, the way he brought out his feelings when singing it certainly puts a great edge to it ;D ;D

Wonderful...my friend said she thought it absolute rubbish and I'd been squeeing big time not a minute before. I'm then wondering if I'm listening to the same stuff...I know I'm biased, but I thought he was exquisite and then some. And the size of that queue!!!!!

It was one of the best gigs well he does get better every time ;D ;D Me and LF were sat at the front and Ditto and sistas were sat right at the back I was so upset to see them there thinking they wouldn't have a good view But they said they had a GREAT!! view can't remember the set list but everything was fab and when he sung Angel and we did the La La La La's James stopped and listened to us he looked so thrilled ;D ;D
didn't remember much of the encore because LF had a very very bad muscle spasm and afterwards as well and Love James helped her out of that
we met cal and my new best friend K on our way out and they enjoyed the gig as well cal asked if k could post on here I said ofcorse she can ;D ;D ( cause were not an 18 site are we? )

Funny how all the reports I've been reading have said this was his best ever, then. And he thought so too. No, we're not an 18+ board, although sometimes we get a little frisky ;D

Hi, just wanted to add my bit as a newbie. The whole Spring Fever event was my first time of seeing James. I thought the intimate gigs would be best but I loved the whole Union Chapel gig from queuing and shivering because I'd left my coat in the hotel to seeing James sing in front of a big audience. Doesn't he come alive and I loved his performance.
Chris ;D
