Info brought over from the general thread. Courtesy of NN - And a reminder from me that their website is at www.fcuk.com (and then click Tune In) - I'll be giving it a go even though I get the biffering crap. Fancy NN having to work and not being able to go!

Yeah ..I'm gutted, but I'm also potless, so instead of being there I'll have to catch em on the radio channel, then go and earn some dough and enjoy thinking about seeing them on Wednesday ;D

I'm tuned in now and the incessant buffering every 10 seconds seems to have settled down..... to every 20 seconds, lol! The woman DJ has announced James' arrival in a few minutes and she says the Buffy fans are going wild outside.... Lol, James says the radio station is now under his control and he'll be there for the next two hours.... just introduced Coldplay. He's a pretty good DJ so far

He said to email him in the studio, but sorry I only caught the end of the addy. Steve is with him and they are laughing about him being on James' radio show! James has plugged all the upcoming GOTR UK gigs. And Steve has chosen a Super Furry Animals track to play - going out to Jenny Whitehouse

Oops, Steve should have dedicated it to Andrew Humphries as well, lol! James says the SFA seem like a rip off band of Bowie (cause the tracks got turned around and it WAS DB, lol!) , and Steve says well yeah, he's the best. So James comments that they'll be ripping him off..? Steve says they have a really mixed bag of music on the show.

Mornin....James is actually a good DJ...is there anything he CAN'T turn his hand to LOL He just said he has about 450 girlfriends outside and is feeling 'damn sexy right now' ! He say's call in..no question is too randy LOL....now what was that number? ;D ;D Oh and he's kicked Steve out for choosing music he didn't want to listen to, and has been joined by 'the mighty Kevin McPherson'!

Listening to the SFA( which was actualy the second track), which I rarely do, they do seem very "Steve", lol. And are they playing long tracks so that they don't have so much panicking time to fill in, in between?! ;D James says it is a miserable day in London (heh, it's real nice HERE ;D). Skies are grey, rain is pouring down. Says there is a contingent of masochists outside on the street, making him and Steve feel ultra sexy. The event is designed to make people feel sick and , he thinks (because of the lousy weather). No question is too randy, no question is too strange! Okay, James did not like that last track and out goes Steve! Kevin is ther enow. Pretty deep voice! James is feeling damn sexy with his 450 girlfriends out there; says he doesn't get out enough. Kevin is laughing at him. James playing a track HE chose now, "She's The One" (mentioned the Robbie Williams cover, but this is the original) The email is studio@fcuk.com He gabbles the phone number too quickly for me to take down.

No point in repeating ourselves! Who's gonna do this? I was fuckin' cut off for the last link, stupid ISP Kev says they are going to be playing some tracks from their new album. this one is Runaway. James played it to Kev first, and if he said it had sucked it would have got no further! Kev says they were in his dorm room... The new album will be lighter, and this is a more poppy track. They have no reason to complain anymore - (hence less angsty stuff). It's not grabbing me by the vitals, it's too poppy for me I think, on first hearing.

Bugger, need you to fill in the gaps when this thing is buffering! Kevin just said "This song rocks my socks" in a growly bassist in a band voice, lol! It's The Darkness. Bless. "Anyone that sings that high in rock..." Reading out texts - they just got that the x at the end of all these messages are kisses, not that everyone is called souch and such X! James pretended to be embarrassed reading out one from Katie telling him he is gorgeous, and then talked about his new hairstyle. Next track is Kev's choice too - Mexican Wine (Charlie heckling in the background) - hey, it's good! ;D

This is driving me nuts! Stupid dial-up, stupid FCUK! Okay, shameless promotion of their new album (hey, why else are you there boys?). This Town - sounds very warm and sweet. Comment - Hard not to have a good time in Europe.... Jimmy Eats World next, seems to meet with James approval.

Shaun is there now, and Jimi Hendrix was his choice. He sounds cute... Anyway, Shaun says Jimi went to his high school and got expelled for reasons they cannot disclose - laughter. James asks if he is feeling sexy. The man is frisky today! Says the London ladies know how to make you feellike a man. Even in the rain, says Shaun.
The next track - Anti Gravity Love Song is Shaun's choice too - play it driving at 90 on an LA freeway... can't do that here, you'd get stuck behind a double decker bus, he says.

This is driving me nuts! Stupid dial-up, stupid FCUK! Seems connection from the UK to Germany is better than inside the UK - no major problems despite dial-up for me. (And of course as I'm typing this everything turns silent...) Just wanted to say thanks for giving a summary here, PK - while I can hear quite well I almost don't understand a thing ;D And re traffic: better don't try that in Berlin either, Sean/Shaun/Shawn (how IS that name spelled anyway).

*screams* Twistie got a question in!! Okay, in order.
James says he didn't know that track but thought it was awesome. Jazz and rock. They are jamming the phones, faxes, emails and crashing the net (don't I know it!).
Asked if they will be going back to Scotland and James says it will have to wait til next year. Then reels off where they ARE going.
Here comes Twistie! She sent in a wquestion about whether James' head was cold after the shave. And James says no, it grows real fast. It doesn't even look shaved now. He's like a GI Joe...
Question about losing his virginity! Shaun says they all want to know! Says he would rather have been in the seventh circle of hell than in that bed that nigth (heh, Dante getting a plug on FCUK!). he didn't know what the hell he was doing!
Shaun's next track is by Sublime. Again, pretty cool.
