I forgot to check the post earlier , and mine arrived too ;D
I've been putting it on my mp3 to listen to later ...I can't use the whizzy cd player in the lounge , and the one in the kitchen is a bit tinny and I want to savour it ;D

I haven't listened yet ! OK, I'm listening now , but I'll need another run through before I comment properly . Not sure I like what he's done with London City ..seems too upbeat . To be honest , on first listen I wish he'd left it as it was and saved it for another album ...if his producer wanted upbeat songs only , Button Down Vandals would have been perfect

;D Mine came this morning, and I'm listening to it at the moment and will give a review when I've listened to a couple of times I'm with NN on wishing BDV was on it though

I like BDV too. He did say at one point that he had about 20 or so songs, didn't he, so he could stick it on the next album along with those others.
So , what do you think now teebs?

I'll give my two-penneth, seeing as teebs hasn't come back with hers yet I really wasn't sure I liked the album as a whole on first listen. Not quite sure why, maybe a bit too light? I like my music a bit more earthy and growly in general. But I discovered today that it's great to play whilst sticking up Christmas cards etc ;D I don't know if that's a good recommendation or not ;D I would like Like A Waterfall itself if it wasn't quite so countrified... But *shock horror* it seems I like one of the easiest listening and a bit country tracks best! Looking At You is annoyingly easy to sing along to! (and it's actually quite possible to punk it up a lot when singing it without the track playing! ;D). I still like London City NN, although I do see what you mean about it seeming a bit more upbeat than we've heard it before. But I've always liked his voice on this one.

Ooops self to save PK the bother It is certainly different from CM and on the whole I like it, I have to admit my favs are Dont Worry Son, When I was a Baby and BotB ;D probably because they have a better beat to them Looking At You is very easy to sign along to PK I'll agree with you there, and I like this version of Like a Waterfall, I'm still not too sure how I feel about London City it's not that I dislike it I just prefer some of his other songs

Cos I got both albums at the same time, I am playing them both to death (reminds me - they both need cleaning cos they keep skipping in the car CD) I prefer CM - not very original, but Smile is still my favourite (its my text tone on my phone - and What I Need is my ring tone...! ) As a bit of a country fan (in my business you have to be) I dont find Like a Waterfall that countryfied, but I know what you mean, some of the tracks have got that sound My favs are Dont worry Son, Louise, Like a Waterfall (always singing that one if Im not singing Smile) and When I was a Baby. I still havnt heard any of the songs he has done that aren't on the albums - things like Angel and Button Down Vandals - so I still have treats to come...

Ive got a second copy of Like a Waterfall, which remains all pristine, but not CM. I can copy them, but my car CD tends to get a bit narky with copies after a while and makes them go all jumpy - spose I'll just keep copying it and copying it!
I promise I'll copy the one you are sending me onto the computer and then not touch it again!! it will be kept all beautiful... ;D
