I had to look that up Ditto. It was Boston two years ago! When life was normal and we could mix freely without masks. Seems a world away now. There's nothing like a good busker with the right audience!
Fancied some of this tonight. M probably knows it!

Thank you Ditto. Loved that. We all need a bit of Highlander and Queen in our lives. Such a hauntingly beautiful song for a classic cult fantasy film. I need to add a song just for me because I am devastated by the news that Marco is leaving Nightwish after well over 20 years. He plays the bass but also sings and his voice and Floor's blend so well. He's been reflecting through lockdown and is having a break for mental health reasons and quality of life. If we do get to see the band in May, which I'm doubtful of, he won't be with them

That were fab. I tried to Google because I am very ignorant and only listen to 80s pop really, but I just kept getting links to lino shops. Since selling lots of Elvis merchandise for a friend on ebay ages ago I'm now a fan! I did like him before, but more now, he was part of our lives growing up, we saw his films at the Essoldo and thought he was gorgeous. A sad life I feel for such a nice bloke.

His life ended so tragically. So sad Let's have another one shall we! This is my favourite. Such a restrained audience despite all that sex appeal oozing off him! Have your fan handy Ditto

Wonderful. Those fans were very restrained when he stepped thru them. I saw Gene Pitney in Eccles or nearby back in the day with work friends and he came down like a cat walk and the fans were grabbing his legs! He was laughing. Another nice bloke. A change. This should be piano music, no idea what it is but it instantly takes me back to hours and hours of watching rose queen practise with my daughter in the church hall. This is the music they had to swan on to... I found it by accident. www.youtube.com/channel/UCvQI6QKWZ0wQuRx3JcIWfmQ

I have no idea what rose queen practise is Ditto! I recognised the first bit of music but it's over 3 hours long!!
When my sister and I went to a Beethoven concert in Vienna we knew loads of the tunes because so many have been used in adverts/commercials over the yearts!
I used to love Gene Pitney back in the day. Maybe I will find a video.

I loved The Andy William Show on . It was in the 70's. Do you want a request Rainbow? If you have your laptop still and find You Tube it's very easy to put songs on.

Good grief, I gave it a few minutes tops! Rose queen practise was for the annual pageant that they don't do now due to expense, all those decades for nothing, shame. The girls would practise coming on and bowing and stuff before the events like the pageant and the courts of queens. I wish they'd make more... that composer guy was extremely clever. He passed not long ago. A bit of a genius I'm thinking. That dot dot dash dash music you hear at the beginning is morse code for his name. Clever eh?

Great choice DeeDee Ditto, I never knew that about the Morse code but now I do, it's obvious! It's a suitably moody piece of music for the subject. He was only 65 when he died last year. Respiratory failure. Very sad. I'm still in Disney mode. I love this song from Frozen 2 but particularly like this version
