That is annoying M I think they had fun making it though. I wish there was footage of James in London that Christmas when we saw him in the old church in Covent Garden. We all sang the 12 Days of Christmas then. Remember the stairs coming out of Covent Garden tube Rainbow? We chose not to use the lift thinking we were young and fit enough I have loads more ready to go! ETA I have found snippets on You Tube!

i think that was possibly the last time we saw you Ditto. M, I don't think you made it over I was looking for a thread about tent but couldn't find it There must be one surely? I absolutely love this one. I had an album of Andy Williams Christmas songs back in the 70's but didn't keep it.

My last gig / James/girls outing was the London one DeeDee treated me too. I need to treat her back now, soon as we're back to normal. You can't beat a bit of Andy Williams. Smooth like Frankie. I like when Robbie does all that old time stuff. Did he do any Christmas songs, somebody post them. !

Robbie has done loads of Christmas covers and had an album out last year called The Christmas Present. This is a fabulous song with his family
This is his new Christmas song especially for 2020

Thanks M. Brenda Lee is the perfect choice for this song. My next was a toss up between Nat King Cole or Michael Buble. I chose Nat but there's plenty of time for more Buble and I'm sure we can find songs for everyday

Really? I remember it as having a distinctly Christmassy vibe! That's weird.

You are absolutely right Ditto! I had another look and it's a year in the life of the family so there are Christmas scenes hence the song. I always thought it was Easter so I must be remembering those parts. I feel the need to watch it now lol!

I don't see why we can't have different versions of the same song so go ahead M.
Ditto, I had forgotten about the intro to Lethal weapon. I have only seen it when it came out in the cinema and that was a long, long time ago.
I'm desperate to start a general music thread but will try and hold out till the new year!
Another oldie that made the number 2 in the charts over here in 1975. Apparently it was written as an anti Christmas song because of all the commercialism. He must have despaired over the years!

LOL yes hold off, we'll have something to look forward to and if more spammers come it'll make a difference and send them down the board.
Had a treat this morning when I put the telly on. Forgot it was Advent Sunday. Just in time for the service on BBC1 and heard this for the first time this year. Bliss.

Lovely Ditto
I loved singing Christmas hymns at school and in church. I remember carol singing too.
