Size doesn't matter(!), as far as KB, only in pixels (dimensions), but the forum will automatically resize pics that are too large. You need to get the URL. I could easily do this for you, as I know which pic you mean, but you've got to learn! Go to the pic. Do a right mouse click on it and choose "properties". Where it says "Address" highlight all that all from the "http" all the way through and including ".jpg" ignore all after ".jpg". When it's highlighted, hit CTRL + C (copy) on your keyboard and then go back to your Bloody Spike profile. In the space that says "I have my own pic" paste your URL (hit CRTL + V). Then the "Change Profile" button at the bottom. It seems like I've given these instructions before to someone... hmm... oh well!

Yes, you have. And so have I! Good on yer Cy! The people must learn! NN, you could do all Cy said just on the thumbnail of your chosen pic... no need to make it big.
Hmmm, but his head looks a wee bit squished... just tried it for ya. But of course I didn't leave it there, coz hee, folks have to learn to do it themselves ;D

His head looks squished because it's a rectangle pic and the forum resizes it to 65 x 65 which is obviously square. Therefore, distortion occurs. Which I'm sure you already knew, PK.

I did, but my warning was for NN who may not like the pic for her avatar when she sees how it turns out! My Akasha is a bit squished too, but doesn't really look bad, I don't think. But James looked kinda.... um!

Thought I'd post this virus alert to warn you all... this is not one of those chain "alerts" that people send out... this is from me, Cyrus! This is an email virus. It is from and with subject line: From: "Microsoft" <security@microsoft.com> Subject: Use this patch immediately ! The virus it has is called W32/Dumaru. The virus is in the form of an attachment called "patch.exe" Opening this attachment will set the virus loose on your computer. If you get this email, delete it! Some people know that Microsoft does not send out patches in emails, and will know not to touch it. But others might think they are helping themselves by running it! Anyway, if you get that email DELETE IT! Info can be found from McAfee here. I am posting this because it has landed in our email box 8 times that I know of in the past couple of days!

Is it making your computer go slow, or just the internet? Because if you are on dial-up, downloading something will make your internet go very slow (like loading pages, etc)
And what Operating System are you using? (I think I shall start a list of Bloody Spikers' OS, to add to the Bloody Spikers' Time Zones lol) If you don't know, hit the "Start" button in the lower left corner, and read what it says along the left side of the menu, for example "Microsoft Windows 98".

;D Yep Windows 98...and it must be the internet on go slow as I'm on dial up when I'm trying to download.

Okay... if that's the case, try downloading the file and then leaving your computer alone until it finishes downloading... I know from experience that it is very difficult to walk away and let it work, but if you try to do too much at one time while on dialup, IE and/or Windows can crash...

Hi there Cyrus! Poker Kittern sugested that I ask you about my problems with downloading episodes off the net. Most of these sites seem to cater for PC users only and I have a Mac running 0X.2 running system. I don't know if you know anything about Macs as you are a PC user, but I could do with even the smallest pointer with this. Thanks ;D

Hi Sue... sorry, but I don't know really much about Macs. The last time I used one was in Kindergarden or so, and so that was 14 years ago! But I'll see what I can do... First off... are you able to download the file, and then unable to watch it? Or does it not download at all?

It's all rather complecated to explain (as anything to do with computers always seems to be!) but when I go to a certain site, you need to install Bitorrent software in zip form which won't open in my machine. I go to the site they suggest to update my zip software which also doesn't work. It doesn't specify when you get there what you should choose to download, so I could be taking the wrong thing for all I know. I haven't got as far as downloading any of the actual episode zips as without the rest being instauled I though it would be rather irrelevant. Sorry if I've not explained myself very well.

Ah... I think I know what site you are trying to download the eps from... I'm doing the same thing right now... but I'm using method 3 on the site... which doesn't have the BitTorrent thing... I've not heard of it before that site... PM me the URL of the site you're using to download the eps, just so I can be sure. P.S. As I am still downloading the parts, I'm not sure if I'm doing it properly either! Okay Sue, I've PMed you back... and using method 3, I think you can forget about the BitTorrent thing and just download the zip files listed. Like I said though, I'm not done with mine yet, so I don't know if it works!

I also could not get bit torrent to work. I downloaded most of the pieces to assemble the ep, but tried to start and it doesn't want to work... so I'm on to the final option... downloading the entire 58 meg file at one time... I really need to get one of those key storage things so I can sneak this kind of stuff off the at school... I could download the entire thing there in a bit over 3 minutes!
