Aww - thanks M - thats a very kind offer, but I have got a shuttle booked. I try and do local transport normally but Im getting in a bit later Thursday so thought it would be best to be taken straight to the hotel.

Rosie, sound like a plan! I hope your flight goes smoothly! You're gonna be surprised how small our airport is compared to some of the ones you've been through, lol! Will probably see you at the con cos I got a feeling we'll be lining up for the same panels, lol! ;D

I can't make my mind up if I'm more jealous you got to New Orleans or more jealous you were with James.

Hey! Shuffling in to say it was a great con...the turnout was much better than I expected, and it seems James has lots of local fans...of all ages! I don't really have a report...just a few happy notes! James is now a married man! Seems very happy and content and his Q & A reflected that. I'm sorry to say that there weren't really any new revelations there. The fans asked alot of the usual questions, but James answered them all in his usual interested, intent way...you all know how he can turn on the charm! ;D His concert was excellent, after a few quirky miscues. He sang some of my favs...Angel, Dangerous, Finer than Gold....and he introduced a new song at the end, which was really good, loved the refrain! Got a pic taken...but didn't pick it up, for reasons I will explain later, and an autograph. Got a chance to congratulate on his marriage, not much else. Get self conscious, lol... But he was attentive to everyone, talking and writing, and seemed very relaxed. I also got to see part of a Q&A with this guy 'The Defuser', who won 'So you want to be a Superhero" , a Stan Lee show, a couple of years ago. I had seen him and two others at Dragoncon last time I went, and they were really funny. He was just as funny on his own. He was also the moderator at James QA and did a great job of entertaining everyone while waiting for James to arrive. Very nice looking... I also caught part of Nick Brendon and Kelly's QA...I was in the autograph line when it started. They were both funny...you know Nick is! ;D I enjoyed walking around seeing all the guests...especially Adam West and Peter Tork. ( used to love the Monkees) Lots of wonderful artists and unusual comic books...not big name, but indie. There was jousting...not sure if it was part of a bigger 'game play' or just for fun, but it was ;D to watch! All in all it was a good day..just wish Travis hadn't had to work cos he's good company at these things. Yes, I did see Rosie, and I'm sure she'll have plenty of pics. Did NOT go back to the con today, cos I think I walked too much yesterday...the hotel was within walking distance, albeit a longer walk than I anticipated. Funny...it didn't look that far whenever I drove past on my way to Harrah's, lmao! Parked in the Harrah's garage, block further from the hotel...away from the Center... and walked to the con...then walked back briefly to get my overnight bag and register at the hotel, then back again to the con for the concert...then back again. I went for a gamble at harrah's, of course, and by the time I made it to my room, I was wrecked... My hips were crap, and my feet CRAMPED up on me. Never had that happen before (poor PK) and watching my toes writhe in different directions was startling to say the least. When I got up this morning, it was like I was a hundred (instead of my real age...39, lmao ) and I could barely walk to the bathroom. So I limped my way to my car and took myself home!! I realized later that I hadn't gotten my pic.... Oh well, I always look like hell next to James, lol! So that is that...con done. ;D If I do make it to UK, I will have to go to the local park and use the walking trails to get in better shape...or like Hallowhedon..stay in one place, lol! ;D

I've added another 10 shots from todays autograph session www.flickr.com/photos/wrigglerosie/sets/72157625812486891/M- I saw your picture with James on the table and wondered why you hadn't picked it up - damn I knew I should have taken it and then I could have sent it onto you! Yeah - the blocks here seem to be very much longer than it looks on the map!

Lol...he did seem to age well! Had the same smile, for sure! The most surprising one...and that's cos I hadn't really thought about the age/time...was Walter Koenig. He was kinda wizen, but recognizable. Seemed very friendly! Adam West was handsomely aged... Ray Parks....good looking! I'll take you all up on that pic/signing offer, lmao.... friend support always helps! Rosie, it's okay about the pic, cos I do have others...would have many if I didn't rip up the really dire ones, lmao! He always looks good...me..iffy! ;D Who won the war of the set list...can't tell from your pic.

I had a pre-pubescent crush on him so he must be clocking up the years now ;D I've read interviews where he clearly understands the fan experience and tries to give folks a good time Pity his Captain isn't the same!

It was a draw M - but I let her have it cos I do have one already...!! Just made it home - its bloody cold here after NOLA - and the heating has been off all weekend, so its like an icebox in the house - brrrrr Just have to warm myself up by taking a peek at some of my pictures from the weekend...! It was a great weekend it really was - much fun, good company, good food and lots of James time!
