I check over and over, still missed it. Same with Facebook, all I see is Farm Town posts. Which one is Godric again? It would be great if Pob and Nina went. Can Werewolves go to a vampire ball?

Godric is TrueBlood as is Mariana, she plays Lorena. I'd be happy with anyone from BH but wouldn't mind Seth or Annie or Nina. I suppose the lovely Mitchel is still Hobbiting down under

I've been doing several Starfury cons a year since the very first one, 15 years ago. They're pretty well established. I am so stupidly excited by this news! James and Starfury... two of my very favourite things! ;D The hotel's really nice - we had last year's Vampire Ball there too - and I definitely recommend staying there.

It would be great if Pob and Nina went. Can Werewolves go to a vampire ball? Oh yeah, 'spose not, so in that case I'd be happy with Seth, Herrick, Ivan or Daisy Shame if you can't make it BWR. Know anyone who can put it on their card and you can pay them back. Thanks Eryka for the info

I hope they will have rooms because I've looked at most hotel sites and the hotel is "sold out" so hopefully they are giving us a special rate as you say Pluto or we have to book another hotel and of corse the only photo shoot will be with James ;D ;D unless they get peeps from BH uk the first series especially Aidan and Russell ;D ;D cause I've not seen any of the new series yet I shall have to rectify that this very second

Not sure yet if I'm going to this one but i I go I'll be staying at the Premier Inn, a short walk down the road ;D ETA in fact I just booked the hotel. Premier don't charge your card till you arrive and you can cancel any time up to the day with no penalty. £147 for a twin room for three nights. It's only a ten minute walk from the Raddison. As to whether we go or not. I'm waiting till Christy's life settles down a bit before talking to her about this.

The hotel's probably saying it's sold out because they're holding a block of rooms for the con. Wouldn't worry about that until after Sean puts up the booking page for it. He reckoned it'd be within two weeks in reply to someone on Twitter. Deb, con's at the Renaissance but it is immediately over the road from the Rad. Glad you are seriously thinking about coming.

Really looking forward to this one too, been going to starfury cons for a long time as well, they run very well, similar to other events same format - photos, autos, q&a's + a fancy dress on saturday night judged by the guests and 3 great parties etc, meet and greet etc. Maybe we could teach james the con songs many funny memories over the years of a lot of our guests having a go.
If you dont know the renaissance hotel it is very nice but food and drink in the hotel is quite expensive but we have a lovely little local pub over the road called the pheasant they serve home cooked food and you'll find half the attendees there. Best to take snacks for your room and your own drink for the evening parties.
Look forward to seeing lots of you there. nicky

I think we took loads of snacks when we went to Hub 7 and it was in another of those hotels on the same stretch, the name escapes me Perhaps we should try The Pheasant but I suppose it gets crowded. No hotel code yet

that would have been the radisson its on the same side as the pub you go out the back of the hotel and follow the road to the end. Everybody eats there its become the officla con pub since they stopped using the Thistle & if you dont want McDonalds, the pub has a heated outdoor bit and a conservatory so plenty of space. www.pheasant-restauraunt.co.ukthe hotel code should be out soon apparantly the Renaissance are building a website so you just add your details as the con code is already in there and its pretty easy all the cons ar the same this year there. You cant book i understand privately as i think they have now blocked off the hotel for Starfury.
