A quick Rosie Ramble from my overnight hotel right by the Dartford Crossing !
James looking good – dressed in GOTR t shirt, the black cardi, jeans and the grey lace-up shoes. Hair is still long, but not looking as curly as of late - It was wet and pushed back at the sides to start with but that didn’t last once he got to the Q and A and ran his hands through it constantly!
His auto line was round the room constantly – it never got any shorter! And Q and A was a lot of usual stuff, but also some things I hadn’t heard before ( Dawn and I were betting how long it would be before he was asked about John B, and would it be, “what’s it like to kiss JB” or “who’s better - him or Sarah?” Answer – second one and it took 20 minutes …!)
He wasn’t around for the Buffy sing-along, but it was still fun!
And I have a few pics from the Q and A. We got in the second row and had an empty seat in front of us!! Trying to downaod now...

Hi, had an absolutely fantastic time at the Weekender sadly I can't remember the really good questions at James' Q&A but hopefully somebody else will. James commented that they were good questions too He looked so happy and relaxed and really got into answering everything, even the Buffy questions. He was funny and charming as usual and drew the biggest crowd apart from Tom Baker The Buffy sing a long was excellant Took GN9 and had it signed by Gareth, James Moran and the director James Moran also signed my photo of me an' him at Utopia and was embarressed cos he was wearingv the same shirt ;D He was also on a panel about DOctor Who and sci fi which was interesting. And last night in the pub after several lagers I was squeeing at him Toby Whithouse was excellant on the Being Human panel on Friday then he did another q and a after we watched a sreening of tonight's episode and loads of upcoming clips Afterwards I went to get his autograph...lovely bloke Most people had BH photos and when I thrust a pic of me an' him at him he said'oh my god it's me' and seemed genuinely chuffed Tom Baker was excellant and you could feel the love in the air for him Very good storyteller and knows how to keep an audience spellbound. Sat in on The Misfits panel which I've never seen but will look out for now. Caught the tale end of a workshop by the writer of Watchmen and learned how to draw hands, feet and faces for comics........marvellously geeky but brilliant Our plans for Saturday night were to watch the awards, catch a screening of Torchwood then boogie all night at tyhe Masquerade Ball. We went to get a drink from our fave bar in the screening room, which was a wonderful chill out zone as well and bumped into a couple of guys we had chatted to briefly on the Friday night. They were standing in the same place ;D Then we just got talking and really clicked so stayed with them from 7.30 - 3.00. They were on pepsi, we were on larger ;D They were 27 and 39 and couldn't believe our ages and P is 9 years younger than me. They loved us and said we'd made their weekend One of them is setting me up with his dad ;D and when he and P did kareoki in the pub later he dedicated the song to his 'mum' ;D I was zoned out for an hour cos of watching Children of Earth Day 5 but they kept me supplied with drink and tissues. Funny how a bit of drink makes you get really vocally into something I was also explaining to the very young barlad about what Captain Jack has to do to his grandson and he was hanging on my everyword. His comment was 'he's not very nice is he'. I also fell in love with the gay scouse barman who I kept asking for hugs P says my 'thing' for gay men is because I don't face up to relationships What else sorry if this is boring and sorry about the atrocious spelling PK Oh yeah, so we had a bit of a dance and went on stage to have a photo with Pat Sharpe ;D remember the mullet ;D But then went back to our boys downstairs and chatted, then went to the pub for kareoke and more dancing then we wemt back to their room ;D by which time I was on water ;D It was really sad to leave them and there was much huggage P ha given R her email so I might get to see a piccie of his dad ;D He is also a freelance photographer and is going to Hub 4 which Rainbow and I ended up booking for over the weekend I'm so glad I went, even though it meant missing James, and just had such a good time

I also forgot to mention him in the above post There were certainly plenty of Gareth fans in attendence, complete with teddy bears but not too many squeely fan girls. Some questions still about the return of Ianto which clearly Gareth is over talking about, but some people just won't let go. Some intelligent questions too, about his more current work which he clearly did enjoy talking about. Some mention of the panto, with Garetrh saying he must be the strangest Prince Charming ever, with talk of sniffing slippers ;D Also forgot to say that I asked Toby Whithouse the first question which was 'do you have a favourite character or identify with any of them?' to which he jokingly replied that he identifies with Aiden Turner's good looks, which drew a laugh ;D He went on to say that he loves writing for new characters such as Daisy and Ivan and Tully from S1. The SFX guy said that he enjoyed Gilbert, the dead guy from the 80's and he's one of my face's too. The SFX team were great throughout the weekend P and I entered the quiz on Friday night. We wern't going to but got roped in by two scary women to make up a four, even though we said we were rubbish ;D We got 68 out of 110 and it was an extremly hard quiz though I knew all the Thunderbird characters and nearly all the Harry Potter books ;D PK, give me a drink and I'll flirt for England

Cute pic Pluto. JM does have a way with microphone placement Some of Gareth's fangirls should read and reread his latest Q&A
