you do - at the restaurant between day and the concert- nice food, awful service! It was a truly fabulous weekend - just seeing people again and finally meeting some for the first time and talking with some of the new people was great. And James was stunning the whole day - the man practically glows! I was spellbound by Love Letters - couldnt take my eyes off him even when he wasnt doing anything - Heartwrenching performances from both James and Beth(?) - I had tears at the end. And being able to watch him interact with everybody at the autographs and hear a lot of the conversations was great. And, and, and, and ...! Oh! and everything was just amazing - I dont have enough superlatives to even start to get across how it was for me and I want to tell everyone all about it and I have jet lag and a headache and a million pictures to go through and I dont care - it was BLOODY WONDERFUL!! A more controlled (yeah - right! ;D ;D ;D) report will follow soon - and pictures as they get sorted and edited (HappyMeal says I'm slacking cos I only took about 1600 photos..... ;D ) ETA - Actually, it was 1668 pictures, if you want to be pedantic... (yes, I added them up!)

More event reportage! JM.com did an AWESOME job of keeping the event moving but making sure we got some adequate James' time. I hope more of these kind of events will happen in the future. General comments: 1) Sorry we missed each other Kristan. Maybe next time! 2) I'm really glad that the "Seeing Red" questions are disappearing from the Q&A's. 3) I think the newbies did a great job and we veterans really showed them the ropes (i. e. no kissing/groping James). I also think that the newbies will come to another James event this year. 4) There were a couple of GUYS who drug their girlfriends to this event for their first time. My photographs from the event: 1) This is one I wanted to do at DragonCon last year but Steve Himber forgot James' name tag on the day. So I've had to remind him to bring it. James & Steve with DragonCon Badges2) This was supposed to be a Spike pose, but James said at the last moment, "This is where we stick our d***s out," which threw me a bit as my face shows. Spike Pose #13) Another Spike pose and Froggy the photographer said, "You're trying to kill me," for doing a squatting pose. Spike Pose #2Autographs: James signed a picture of mine from DragonCon last year, "Hey, Steve, Peace." and a candid 4"X6" from eBay I bought "J.W.M." I've had James do that (initial for an autograph) for a while now if I use 4"X6" pictures so he doesn't write all over it. James liked my present of Toblerone and some other candid photos of him I bought on eBay. The Q&A was good, the play was AWESOME, and the concert was really entertaining. I liked it when he would stop in between some of the songs and talk to the audience a bit. It makes it really friendly IMO. Success for James with DragonBall: Evolution, Stephen

Stephen - I'm sorry we missed each other too! I'm not sure how that happened what with the little amount of people there (compared to other events, of course). I'm sure I saw you at one point or another but I wasn't entirely sure at the time - now seeing your pics again I know I did! So definitely next time. I'm pretty sure I will be at Fangoria. I want to share my James story - well, the one that was the most funny to me at least. My boyfriend is a James fan too and we went together but he went mostly for me. He met him years and years ago in California at a restaurant during the Buffy days (90s). So we go through to get a photo with him together and they rushed us through - we had been under the impression we could get two as we both paid for a ticket. My boyfriend in the photo, btw, failed to put his arm around James (my boyfriend is over 6 feet and as we all know James is a short man so he thought it would be awkward!) and I guess James assumed he wasn't a huge fan because I hugged him so he goes "Thanks for bringing your lady out, man". So I talked to the people after the photo and my boyfriend told me to get one alone, so they let me be the last one to get a photo before the extras were taken. I told James "Oh I'm getting one without him now" and made a hand motion and he laughed and hugged me. After the photo I was going to head off and he grabbed both my hands and made me face him, looking me dead in the eyes and says, with all seriousness, "He is a very confident man. He must have a very big dick." I won't lie, I was kind of just like in the moment, haha.

PS - Was anyone else really wanting to CRY with JOY over how much he *FINALLY* admitted after year and years and years of us KNOWING that "Dangerous" was about Michelle Trachtenberg?
Also, I find it very interesting that "Too Fast" is about Eliza...
