Ok to go with the thread theme.. dont laugh.. This is me at about emma's age. Notice the chubby cheeks same as emma's. This is my senior high school pic. Note the afro of curls. the lady at the photoplace did your hair and makeup and thought it would be nice for me to go with my natural curls.... soooo not happy bout this!

Aw, people shouldn't diss their curls. You'll miss them when you're old and they fall out I doubt it. The parentals were always skint so I doubt they contributed much, and both sets of grandparents were working class council house dwellers. The cake does look grand, though. I'll have to ask about that.

That looks like a really elegant wedding dress NN Funny thing, I always loved my curls, later ringletty type things, and was heartbroken when my hair went all fucked up. The wavy stuff has been resurrected though - it's a miracle! - and even some of the holes are filling in. Hurrah! Just the colour that's quite different now. I have some more to scan tomorrow ;D

This was one of my fave toys eva and I was using it for at least three years. One of my earliest memories is me sitting in it in the living room and having to be lifted out of it when my parents sold it to the second-hand shop Most of my childhood ended up there. I later had a huge crush on the owner of the shop's son, but that's another story...

My mum, the DancingQueen! She was actually very good and won tons of medals and whatnot for tap, ballroom and ballet (and she was a ballet teacher for a while).

Roy of the Rovers My dad, SoccerStar. Ah, the heady days of the Third Division (north)! I do think his unfeasibly large CurlyQuiff gave him an unfair advantage in heading the ball... Can you spot him in the team pic? (front row, 2nd from the right) Def the most glamorous guy! And doesn't the manager/coach look dodgy?! ;D

I didn't wanna upload old pics to flickr, but if you're gonna make me stick to the theme. Do we have a thread for current pics? This is my mum on her wedding day. Maybe I'll scan one of both the 'rents. They're divorced, but I think they looked great.

Well I don't have any of my parent's wedding pics scanned, but I might do that . . . . Here's a pic of little me. I think I was in kindergarten. This one I'm in my early 20's. I'm not too sure what the guy's name is, but I think he was the brother of a friend of mine and this was at her wedding reception (which was a beer and brat party in their backyard):
