I am kinda slow in some areas, lol. I only found out yesterday, quite by accident, that you no longer need a code from an existing LJ-er in order to acquire your own live journal So off I went to get me one... but you know what, I think I feel more at home with me dear ol' blog! Besides which, I have a lot of stuff and nonsense archived there now and it seems pointless to keep up with two journal-type things! Unless anyone can suggest some way to use them differently.... Anyway, I thought we could share our urls with each other here. And for those of you who haven't succumbed yet, why not take a look at: www.blogger.comwww.livejournal.comand grab your own! I have just changed the name of my blog, and the link is in my sig. Rather unimaginatively I have named my LJ The Pit of Snakes 'n' Lava too ;D And of course, have done nothing with it so far, but feel free to drop by and comment.... constructively! www.livejournal.com/users/pokerkitten/

Right now (and it will probably stay there) I have a journal at my website marsters.cjb.net and click on Journal on the left. I write 7 lines (in 1024x768 resolution on a 15" monitor) in it everyday, unless there's something real long, then I link to a rant page. Why the size limit? Otherwise I'd end up skipping out most days. And it makes it look neater. I think my last update was in January, but I've got the rest on my computer that I've just not uploaded yet...

Sorry for the double posting, but I posted earlier, so my new one wouldn't show up as new if I just did an edit. I just created an LJ: www.livejournal.com/users/cyrus7/-or- www.livejournal.com/~cyrus7/dunno why they have 2 urls but they go to the same thing... and there's nothing posted yet... Someone always has my name... ...so I have to add to it to make it unique so it will accept it... and I couldn't use my regular password! It says that it's bad because it's in the dictionary and it won't let me use it!

They can just be somewhere to play NN... Why not check out ours and see what stupid stuff we put in 'em... well okay, I should just speak for myself... the stupid stuff is mine! I added a comments thing to my blog today, as I stumbled across the code to do it. I tested it out myself, so I know it's working but it isn't very exciting looking, lol! If anyone else would like to test drive it for me, just click on the link in my sig.

Heh, I have changed the link in my sig now - it leads to LJ not blog, now! Oh, Cy... or anyone. Ditto would like some BLEURGH! icons for her LJ. Anyone know where she can snag some? I can't bear to look *shudders* but there's this place, that does requests - www.livejournal.com/community/btvs_requests/

If you have an LJ and want to know which server and where on the server you are (helpful when they're having server problems), be sure you're logged in, then go here: www.livejournal.com/misc/whereami.bmlFor example: Where are you? cyrus7 is on Green, subcluster 1.

[glow=purple,2,300]Mine LJ is www.livejournal.com/~the_wrong_child and makes for great bedtime reading in that it's sooooo boring it'll send you to sleep.
However it's vital if you really need to know how my pregnancy is going. << sarcasm, folks[/glow]

Check out this article on bloggers and LJers! observer.guardian.co.uk/review/story/0,6903,1185061,00.html And for the record, I read Belle de Jour's blog once. It was excellent entertainment! ;D

I think the customizable mood icons are for paid users only. We freebies can only use their predefined sets. Those are pretty though!
