No longer a rumour, so here's its own thread! From Tabula Rasa Events: TA DA - HE'S BACK!
You demanded it, and we listened. James Marsters will be coming back to Melbourne to be apart of another fun- filled convention weekend in Melbourne.
Whilst the convention is going ahead on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 July 2005; tickets are not quite ready to go on sale just yet - they will be available in the coming weeks.
So consider this your heads up and so get yourselves a group together, organise what you need to, so when the convention goes on sale with Ticketek, you'll be ready to book right away without any mad panic. This year tickets will only be available through Ticketek phone orders, online bookings and in person at their agencies - and not through directly Tabula Rasa Events - so you'll need to have all your seating requests decided on before you go and purchase your tickets, as all seats will be allocated at the time of sale.
More details on the convention will be announced in the coming weeks, including who from the casts of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and from Angel will be joining James in what is shaping up to be the best convention Melbourne has seen.
BUT WHAT CAN I DO NOW? YOU ASK?
In addition to the convention, James will be performing an extra special concert on the Saturday night [2 July] - an acoustic version of his highly anticipated solo album which is due for release in April.
This showcase of James' musical talents will be on sale from THIS FRIDAY 28 JANUARY!!!!!!
All the details can be found at www.tabularasa.com.au including location, prices and how to purchase tickets.
Tickets to this one night only Australian performance are strictly limited so be quick before they're all snapped up.
[Please note: the concert is restricted to persons 18+; the two day convention will be open to persons of all ages].
And a gig! Yay! Book as soon as yoo can Toy, lol!

Thanks Pix LMAO Ditto. Don't worry, I will! I've been on the phone to Christine and Louise. They are both going for 1 day only - Christine has a Tarot Convention in Melbourne that same weekend but she is going to miss one day to go to the Con. I've just been sorting out with the Moz gals about sitting together. Hopefully it will all pan out.

It has been posted on ASH's Official Site that he will be a guest at the TRE con ;D
It hasn't been confirmed by Cora yet but I'm crossing all my fingers and toes and hoping that it's true.

ASH is just the loveliest fella. My piccie with him at the Harvest is a hoot! He is so giggly; we look a pair of grinning loons. I've stuck it on the front of that year's diary. It'd be great if he could be there with Robin, they play off one another exquisitely.
