O-kay! There is a piece at Slayerverse about today's Berlin event, and although the translation isn't perfect it gives you a good feel for what was happening - www.slayerverse.de/tanet/net_buffy_us/?navi=news.php&id=7866Forewarned is forearmed.... organisation a little rocky? Well, isn't it always? These things must be hell to control! And an interval showing of Chance - cool! Hope we get that too! (Sure, I own it, and have watched it loads, but never in company!) Spike movie? Please, YES!

Absolutely! The crew were so good after the gig, I may forgive them just this once. They are travelling back today so we maybe won't hear from them for a while. off on the hunt for other folks' reports now. *shock, horro* I'm not going to be anal about this, so all the stuff about the GOTR bit of the audience can be posted in here too (unless anyone is wonderful enough to write up separate reports...) Here is the thread from the GOTR International board

Hiya PK and guys, could not get on after the audience, it was a very tiring day, Snow had had nothing to eat how James did that whole day and kept up that constant sparkle feck knows! Grey day, got to Crown Plaza, would have been easier to stay there lol. Peeps already there but not a lot. Got quite crowded later, but the organisation wasnt that bad. Bit confusing, hotel prolly didnt know what hit them lol. RockGoddes said hi, she was signing us in and gave us our orange bracelets lol. Remembered us from Harvest. PK, met peeps from 'Dead Seed' board lmao. Tons peeps, but like the stewards said it was a learning curve for London so things should be smoother by then, I thought it was excellent though to be honest after initial panic. Daf blushed to roots of hair again, as the lads came through when we were still sitting in foyer. Snow and Deb out at shops and took flipping cameras. Me and Daf sat there and James goes up the stairs, sees us (we are not forgettable lol) pauses, makes eye contact, smiled and waved. She said it was just at us and went bright red again lmao. I was catatonic after that as usual. After bracelets on, straight upstairs, GotR merchandise table, bought piccie for $5 then $15 for guys excluding James to sign. They were darlings especially Kev and Sean and even the usually dour Charlie was exceptionally nice. Steve looked gorgeous. Sometimes he looks dead ordinary and other times he will look all nicely tanned and delicious and makes my knees go weak.

Sorry re double post but thinking it might delete. Feel free to sort PK darlin' After GotR signed we went and sat down and we were Row E quite near front and you could sit anywhere in row and we were in middle which was good except Snow was row behind and over a bit. Missed her. Also worrying about her not having anything to eat. Allsorts showing on large screen, Buffy bits at first and Andromeda and Chance later and towards the end fanpeeps videos from www.headtilt.com one of the audience faves was the one with info clips like the tongue is the strongest muscle in the body etc very funny (you will be seeing this shortly no doubt) Bit worrying was the fact one of the vids had lots of spoiler clips so be warned peeps. James signings were called row by row, and very organised. More Than Spike gel (Deni?) had everything in hand and she did announcements first in English then other gel did same in German. Very professional. I lined up with Deb, and then there he was, the man himself. He looked absolutely divine. He should be in that film Troy showing his thighs, Brad Pitt pfft! He was giving gels kisses and hugs and the eye contact and being charming. Deb gave him this blue bag edged with swansdown ie feathers everywhere. 2 teeshirts, sonnets and the Scottish Play read by Alec Guinness. Bet he luvs her lol. I gave him Abattoir silver Goth bracelet, skulls bones etc. He was a bit fazed by this time though, us sistas are not unobtrusive lol. His hair is to die for, why did I ask him if I could touch it though. I wish I hadnt, he is not a piece of meat. His hair feels to die for, also so does his ear (I went a bit wonky). ;D It feels so soft. I luv him, I really really luv him and then some. Deb has just said Oh stop being so soppy lmao. ;D We left James looking spaced out, sorry James, we promise to be more staid in London babe. I think he forgot to shake my hand. ;D We went back up and watched more screen stuff and chatted and then there was a bit of a commotion about seating. Lmao. Me Deb and Daf sat in a row and then Maggie and her sister are there wanting their seats but someone had snaffled them and they were looking along the row not having seen us and Maggies face is all serious and we are sat grinning and waiting for her to scan and make eye contact with us and she is frowning and then she sees us and cracks up. ;D Those two peeps had to move After signings done it was GotR including James. Questions and stuff. Dead entertaining. Funny and joking with one another. One of the questions was what 2 things would you take to a desert island, they thought of music mostly and then we think it was Steve pipes up to Kevin so no room for the jar of Vaseline then? Lmao. ;D We loved the rap bit as well, those guys are so talented. When asked what they wanted to be doing in a number of years time Sean said he was hoping to finish school. Lol. Also, someone asked what about when Aaron comes back and guys said they would be selling tickets for the fight. ;D James just said they will have two drummers. Apparently they have been approached for a recording contract but guys better off as they are at the mo. More signings for James after that and screenings and waiting. We are taking a flask with us to London lol. By the end of the day we would have sold our souls for a cuppa. Daf lined up with Maggie and her sister who are hilarious. Maggie asked James if she could feel his hair as well. Great minds think alike lol, she just scrubbed the top of it then, not OTT like me. I dont think he liked it though and neither does Daf. James got Armani from one gel, she got a hug and a kiss! Armani here I come. James signed Dafs Chance poster and Maggies lil photo of James with his new do they were selling at the merchandise. When James finally came on gone 6ish, he thanked us for waiting for him lol. (Forever babe). He did a raffle then, GotR signed bear and Hollywood Reporter thankyou thingy and signed poster. Lucky gels who got them. One was 243 and I was 143 They got James hugs and kisses. Fave bit of the talk was the Scottish play reading. James was awesome. Struts and frets thing, his fave. Could have heard a pin drop. Lotsov applause at the end. He likes the idea of wearing a kilt and praised Mel for his work lol. Lotsov interesting questions from gels and straining to hear the accents lol. James has no false modesty, has tons of work in pipeline and Joss will be bringing Spike back, James says dont leave it five years as Spike has to be young lol and Juliet Landau kissed James for saying this lol. Oh, you will be hearing all this in London lol. It was fantastic anyhoo and James was gorgeous in that leather jacket. Talk was only an hour and tooo short. Stewards and peeps worked really hard and it showed. Peeps applauded them at the end. And that was that. It was fantastic. Roll on London. Wanted to find internet cafe but needed to get sustenance and back to the hotel. ;D Sorry this is garbled PK, I am no good at reports. Hope the enthusiasm shows through though. These German keyboards are an absolute pain in the derriere. I could have had it done in next to no time at home.

I posted in between! ;D Nice report Ditto. All that time before his Q&A though.... but yeah, the guys are fun together so I shouldn't start grumbling about them being first! I was going to take my Chance poster to be signed, as well, seeing as Amber's teeny scribble is already on it... hmmm. Do I have anything else... too OTT for him to sign my Bloody Spike album again, I suppose...?!

There's not much I have to add to Ditto's report, just wanted to comment on the "unorganised" thing because I really disagree on that, especially in comparison to the "Harvest". I think it was only two things that weren't perfect this weekend: - The hotel lounge at the Crowne Plaza was way too small, and with almost 600 JM fans waiting for registration and several dozends of regular hotel guests checking in and checking out all the while there had to be chaos. In fact, when we were sitting in the café and watching the crowd I was absolutely sure that we wouldn't get to see James before 7 o'clock in the morning. ;D - They didn't have any microphone during the registration, and while Rockgoddess definitely has a voice that could be heard in the whole room (kudos to you!) she only spoke English, and the german translations were way too silent to be understood. So most people simply didn't have a clue what they were supposed to do during the registration, especially as this probably was the first convention for many fans there. But once we were in everything went VERY smoothly and also very relaxed, general atmosphere was friendly, stewards I met were very nice, the screenings were great fun (some of the fan-made videos were such a hoot!, esp. "Whatever" and that statistics thingie...), and well, can't help the fact that with several hundreds of fans wanting an autograph there's bound to be a bit of a wait every now and then. But in the end we were absolutely on schedule, no reason to complain. So, I think that organisation was actually pretty good (well, not counting the little mess during registration), and as there shouldn't be any language-related problems in London I expect the event there to run absolutely perfect. On a personal note: James = very good for dieting (no need to worry about me, Ditto, I really didn't feel hungry until we looted that bakery after the event ;D ), I actually managed to line up for an autograph this time (which, if you know me, means a lot) so I got that out of the way, I don't have to do it again in London and can really enjoy the event. Random bits I remember: - Kevin and Charlie obviously felt bored during their autograph session so they painted Charlie's left hand silver. - I assume most of you would have found James' Q&A boring as almost all questions had been answered at length on previous occasions. But as it was James' first appearance in Germany ever and most german fans don't read Uk or american boards that was to be expected. - Did I mention that Sean is a total sweetheart? When somebody asked that question about what would happen to him once Aaron got back there were huge "Awwws" in the crowd. - Somebody HAS to ask that question about what country has the most beautiful girls during the Special Audience in London, too. - I prefered the band's Q&A over James' solo one - way more fun. Kevin I found was bit silent but everybody else seemed to have a real blast up there. (Plus I had definitely reached my limit on daily input of data for that day by the time James finally came onto stage). - Also nice when they tried to give a little shout-out to the german audience sometimes, like when they were asked about what band they would like to have as a support band and Charlie suggested "Rammstein" and Kevin (or Steve? Didn't have a good view) the Scorpions. (Steve also would accept the Rolling Stones as a lead-in eventually. ;D) Personally I would love to see them with the "Toten Hosen" once... - I know nothing about theatre but James' MacBeth speach was really impressive. Wonder if he ever did german plays, like Goethe, Schiller or Lessing. Now if I wasn't such a wuss I might muster up the courage to ask a question during the Q&A next year, lol. All I can remember so far, if there's anything to add I'll be back. Luv Sno P.S.: Just in case she ever comes here: to that french girl who was sitting next to me in the main hall and went to James' autograph with me: It was a real pleasure meeting you and I was so happy to have you with me during the autograph thing as I was literally close to collapsing on the way

Thanks for that Snow, lovely details It's true; once you have experienced one convention, you get to realise that there is no way round the waiting thing, if they are going to continue to offer autographs/pics at such events. But at least these guys seem to have the waiting time entertainment sorted out! Lol at rockgoddes having a booming voice! ;D And yay for your 30 seconds with James Snow! I remember at SFX being very sniffy about getting an auto (never mind a pic), not from nerves or whatever, but because I thought it was kinda weird. Then I just thought sod it at The Harvest and went for it! I still think it is weird, slightly, at my age but a few seconds weirdness is worth it to look into those eyes, hee! ;D

I still think it is weird, slightly, at my age but a few seconds weirdness is worth it to look into those eyes, hee! ;D LOL. I don't think I even noticed his eyes Well, I'm pretty sure he did have a pair of those but seriously, I wasn't really paying attention, just thanked him for the concert and ran Actually the thing that amazes me most was how much I was NOT "amazed". On Sunday I felt a bit like Columbia (? not a big Rocky Horror fan, lol) when Frank has brought Rocky to life and everybody is like "OMG he's absolutely marvellous, tribute to your genius" etc., and then Columbia chimes in "He's okay." ;D Because right now that's just how I feel. He's okay. Quite a normal, regular guy who - if I met him on the street - I probably wouldn't give a second look. There, I've said it. You can kill me now. Of course he's good-looking and everything, no argument from me. But there's a lot of good-looking guys out there. In the end the fact that James is such a genuinely nice guy is way more important, I believe.

But if you didn't give him that second look you would never get to know he was a nice guy worth bothering with! As I said in some thread or other, talent is a huge aphrodisiac to me, so he could be an utter bastard and I'd still get all googlie-wooglie at the thought of him, heh. But I wouldn't run a site and message board in his honour in those circumstances. Do you know, I didn't even notice James was phwoar til the last episode of BtVS S2 although I was more than intrigued by Spike's character by then. And IMO James is much more phwoar now, with or without the talent, than he was a few years ago! But men have that annoying habit of maturing into their beauty don't they....

But if you didn't give him that second look you would never get to know he was a nice guy worth bothering with! Oh, but I honestly believe that ALL people are genuinely nice people. And as long as I don't give them a second look they don't have a chance to prove me wrong... ;D I'm better not gonna talk about my first reaction when I saw James on . Let's just say I wasn't thrilled. - So what? I'm an ignorant. Couldn't tell gems from pebbles. Also, as there were lots of 'David Hasselhoff' jokes during the band's Q&A, could I take this opportunity to state once and for all that not all germans like David Hasselhoff? Thank you. ;D
