I know... eep! Hope I am feeling better than I have been these last few weeks I have been getting film speed advice from folks on another board, and so far it ranges from 400 to 800 to 1600. Bloody hell!! The last one was from a pro, who understands the no flash, weird lighting and movement thing at gigs, and produces marvellous pics herself.... but I haven't a clue what I'm doing! lol! Just use instinct and hope for the best!

Just bring over some FAQs to get us in the mood! Travelling in three weeks - woohoo! ;D
Q. What does my ticket number get me? I heard you were doing seating by ticket number? A. Your ticket number will influence a lot of things at the convention ranging from when you will get your autographs to where you will be seated in the main hall for talks and Q&A sessions. If you are ticket number 1, for example, you will be first to go through for autographs. You will also be in the first row of seats in the hall for the talks. So for example in the main hall ticket numbers 1-50 will be in Row 1, ticket numbers 50-100 will be in row 2 etc. There won't be individual seat numbers so you can choose where in the row you want to sit.
Btw, Pauline hasn'r decided what to do with me yet! Lol!
Q. Can I photograph/videotape guests during their Q&A sessions?
A. You will be allowed to take photographs of the guests during the first 5-10 minutes of their talks only as flashes are very wearing on a speaker's eyes. After this we will need to ask you to stop and put your cameras away. Some guests have a contractual clause asking that they are not videotaped during their talks (unless by the official convention cameraman) so we will not be allowing any video cameras into the main hall. The talks will however be filmed by our own official cameramen/technicians and a video will be put on sale shortly after the event for those who wish to purchase it.
Q. How many items are allowed to be signed at the autograph sessions? A. You will be allowed to take a maximum of 3 items per guest into the autograph sessions. 1 may be a personal item (ie. convention booklet, poster or a photo of your own) and 2 official items bought at the convention itself. Official photos and merchandise will be available at the registrations desk to purchase.

You better have your pic taken with him PK after you've lusted over him all this time Only 2 weeks to go god I'm getting nervous now. Have there been any plans made to meet up with everyone. I know that most of you are travelling down together, but how about NL, Emz, Lozz, Shelley and any others...... should I be synchronising my watch lol.

Well, I'm sharing a room with NL so I reckon we'll be meeting up, lol! There's the Scala gig on the Thursday night, so she is coming to the Paragon straight from work that day. I don't think I'll be going to the gig afterall *sob* so I shall probably be on my ownsome that night but will probably need to get over the journey anyhoo! Do you know when you'll be arriving Twistie? we'll fix something up when we see you a week on Monday/Tuesday

LMAO..... I didn't realise you were sharing with NL guess there's no missing her then ;D
We should be getting there about 9.00am on the Fri. We intend to start out really early. Paul hates the traffic so if we come then it'll be pretty quiet on the roads we hope. Unless there's gonna be a mass exodus of Buffy fans on a pilgrimage lol.
Are you def not going to the concert then don't you think it's a bit soon to make a decision.

Oh cool! If you want to stash your bags until you can check in, you can leave them in our room (just don't drag me out of bed at 9-00 am! LMAO!). Hey, we could all meet up for brekkie!
No, can't make that decision yet but the way I have been these last few weeks I can barely make it up my own 13 stairs to bed, so the Scala would be impossible. But if I prepare myself for the worst, but somehow feel up to it that night, then that'll make me a very happy PK...

Thanks for that we might need to because Wil says if I buy James anymore gifts we're gonna need a trunk not a suitcase lol. Breakfast sounds like a good idea but do you think they will let us in. I promise not to bang on your door at 9.00am...... what room are you in again lol I remember you saying that the Scala isn't very disabled friendly if at all. We'll send you lots of positive vibes for that night and hopefully you'll be able to make it.

Not at all, actually! lol! But at least they are aware of their shortcomings andf have a big notice about it at their website. they have also been very helpful to me in trying to make it possible. But the many many stairs are still there... Thank you for the psoitive vibes in advance Don't forget, now... ;D

You've got to do me a favour though and think of me while you're staring at the gorgeous body of James. I'll be there with you in spirit.

You'd better take some great pics we want see lots of them up on BS. My photo taking skills are atrocious. Spent the whole weekend at SFX waiting for the light to go off when taking pics. Only to find out when I got home that you take them with the light on. lmao Our pics of EoD are no better lots of the backs of peeps heads. Our camera's crap though it's just a normal 35mm one and it's great if you are 2 feet away but further than that and you can't see what's on the photos. Did you not succumb to a digital camera??

No, for some reason digital has never interested me. I have always loved taking pics, without knowing anything about the technicalities, and even with a very old and fairly limited camera, got decent results. But this new one will probably flumox me! Digital sems like cheating somehow, to be able to see how it is going to turn out.... I know, I'm weird!
