Thanks Ditto. I feel better today. More like myself. Hopefully all the pain will be totally gone by tomorrow and then I can be totally like myself. Which may or may not be a good thing!

Thanks Pix. Yep, it was a great jab!!! I don't think I'll ever be as afraid of needles again . . . normally, I'm petrified, but this one made me better, so maybe their aren't all bad.
Today it feels really great, just a small bit of a twinge if I move my wrist too far to the left, but other than that, I'm like new. Hooray for modern medicine!

Yay, BG!! Glad to hear you're on the mend! G is feeling better, too. His voice is still hoarse, but he's doing much better than last Sunday.

She got it from the hotel they stayed at recently. The cafe is spotless and Mr Chef Rainbow has very high standards, the saturday girl (moi) can vouch for that ;D

thanks for all the good wishes everyone. Have a dose of campylobactor which I am sure came from the chicken I ate at the hotel. Have sent letters to hotel, company we booked it through, hotel's head office and environmental health and will see what response I get. Refund on my money would be good! Starting to feel a bit better after 10 days getting very friendly with my toilet but still very headachy and tummy pains when I eat. Lost 5,5lbs last week tho so not all bad!!

Can I just contribute a very loud "Ow!!!" ?? I have toothache...very annoying, pretty sure I need a filling replaced but haven't registered with a dentist here and probably can't afford the treatment anyway!! I get toothache in that tooth intermittently but it usually goes after a day or so...this time eating and drinking makes it worse and it doesn't seem to be getting any better so I'm beginning to think that ignoring it all the other times was not such a good idea *frowns*
