To be fair, if you read the excerpt properly you'd see he was passing on what he'd been told. It wasn't something he magically knew for himself. Unfortunately it sems to have been the Buzzy ladies who fed him this crap.

The women from Buzzy Multimedia (which produces the audio books), who happen to like James, but need to cast their net browsing a little wider, it would appear.

I like Michael Shanks, and I think the Buzzy ladies were probably trying to make him aware that he had to keep bodily actions to a minimum whilst reading if it was his first time LOL I must say ,I don't consciously or unconsciously listen out for anything when I'm listening to James reading....why would you

Sometimes you can hear where he has a bit too much saliva in his mouth, and it makes a noise when he opens his mouth...

Yeppers! Some folks in the US have had theirs. I resisted ordering it early as I haven't listened to all of Fool Moon yet. But I don't know why I am being so hard on myself as GP is my fave book of the series anyway! You'll have to give us a report when yours arrives, DeeDee (JB does an intro to it and says nice things about James )

Am resisting, as can't afford at the moment. Conventions and gigs are more of a priority - after April, will have to start saving for October

You could wear it as a nightshirt DeeDee. Sleeping with Harry is not a bad thing!
*wheedle* Could you transcribe what Jim B says in his intro, do you think?

Here it is I hope I got the words in the right order and the spelling right ;D ;D
This is Jim Butcher Author of the Dresden files and I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to the people who make this audio production possible.
June and Joy at Buzzy multimedia Audio publishes of my books have more than earned my gratitude and respect for their tireless work and dedication and are a realy terrific pair of ladies.
James Marsters the narrator of these books has done an outstanding job in his readings and also deserves a round of thanks.
But most of all I want to say thank you to all the fans out there, who have done so much to make these books succeed.
Some of you have been harry Dresden fans since the series began some have just happened accross the Dresden files because James is reading them, where ever you met my work I am grateful for all the fans who have pushed the books on there friends, bought them as gifts for family members and in general have gone to a lot of effort to help spread word of my books around thank you guys.
Grave Peril marks something of a mile stone for me as a writer and for Harry as a Charecter, many people feel that the series realy kicks into gear during this novel, and in several sences there absolutely correct.
So I hope if you've never heard this novel before you enjoy this as much as others have and if you are coming back it again. I hope that you enjoy James's performance as much as I do.

Aw, love that Jim! He is right about GP. Quite a milestone for him. And James' readings are terrific performances; and I know JB loves them as much as us! After hearing him do the kitchen scene in Storm Front (the one where James made me cry), he had a think to himself and came to the conclusion he had been very hard on that character, lol. Thank you so much DeeDee. Spellings aren't important, it's the thoughts we want. And it was very good of you to do it (and I suddenly thought of your poor eyes after I asked you to do it, and I feel very very guilty )
