Good morning Looks like it's going to be another lovely day. Hopefully we will bear the queues at the dump Rainbow! Hi PK It must be exhausting for you being up and down so much, hopefully you are back on track now. Have the letting agents all got your specific particulars? Good luck with the search I have to organise Mother's day for Antonia as well as my own mum. H always goes to town with cards for grandma and great grandma. Probably because of all sharing the house as we used to. Antonia is watching Trolls again! Back street Boys song at the moment, then there's lots of disco tracks and other songs from the 90's. She learning the words to the songs Hope your mum is ok Teebs Gardening day Ditto or out and about? Hi DeeDee See you later Rainbow

Greetings. Your Cake of the Day correspondent here and the news is that it was a very crunchy and gingery cookie. I could have done with another one as I didn't get a dessert at lunchtime, but was totally forgotten about.
Yes, various local agents have my requirements both up here and down by mum but they always just miss the mark.
It's been a nice warm, sunny day here but going a bit hazy now...

Do you eat in your room PK or with the other residents ? I suppose the agents offer what they think is near enough the mark from their perspective without fully understanding your needs. Must be frustrating and annoying. Rainbow and I did two full dump trips and took down old curtains. She helped me with decision making too in the kitchen Tesco was manic and I couldn't even get a leg of lamb so got beef instead. Maybe the weather has put people in mind of barbecues or just Mother's Day shoppers. Too many empty shelves and it was only about 1.30! Ditto I am hoping you found your green fingers today

Hey! B came in with the groceries, of course, just as I got online here, but that's okay! The online shopping and pickup are really great, just one substitution this time, and it was to our advantage! B and I did another overnight trip to Island View on Thursday, just out of the blue. He had gotten several extra free play offers that were ending Thursday, and he wanted to use them...almost $500 of free black jack play! He won those free hands, and did really well all together. I won a little, got all my playing money back plus a little extra, so I was happy! Nice meals out, buffet had jumbo shrimp and snow crab legs, which are a treat! Pluto, it's amazing how much stuff you have hanging around, isn't it? I'm still cleaning out Travis' old closet, so much stuff in there, most of it useless stuff like old costumes and old school books, but I have to pace myself cos it's a chore! Your Friday with A sounds perfect! Some of the best music is on those animated movies! The Minions movie had lots of 60s music, and I sang along to them, much to Gabe's surprise and dismay, lmao! He wanted to know how I knew them...well, the 60s were my teens, so Teebs, so sorry for your loss, I hope your mom is doing okay. Did she live close, I don't remember if you said? Rainbow, S watches the grand kids a lot, he must be a fun grandpa! I hope the knee holds out for you so you can enjoy your Sunday! PK, hope the fingers stay flexible so you can keep posting! Ditto, you def need a pull out couch! Or maybe just a fold out cot you could put next to the sofa or bed? I saw on FB that you finished Grave Sight, did you like it? I have the audio book, too, and it's a really good listen! I hope you get out in the garden soon, maybe pick up a new flower or two and that will give you a little push to plant them! Again, I hope all of you moms, and your moms, too, have a very special Mother's Day...I think all of you are outstanding mothers and grandmothers! Deedee, sending good thoughts your way, too, for Mother's day, you were a loving daughter to Big Momma! Take care all...hugs!

Pluto, it would be my idea of a nightmare to eat in the lounge/dining room. For one thing it isn't well populated as far as I can tell so no point. But honestly, I would hate having to make small talk with the oldies. And I am a very slow eater so I would be stuck there for ages!

Good morning Happy Mothering Sunday I thought I'd actually managed to sleep in then realised we have lost an hour It also explains why Antonia is not bounding around yet! PK, I can see why you would prefer eating in your room. You'll have to remind them about your pud! You pay enough after all. M, it's always good to come out even or with a more money than you started with. We enjoy a little flutter with 2 pence coins on our pier in those slot machines but always lose them in the end though occasionally manage to get the prize fall through. Sounds like a lovely time was had, especially with dinner. I can't recall the music from Minions but haven't watched any for ages. M, you too are an outstanding mother and grandparent

Lovely day so far. Great brekkies, then lots of lambs to see and one being born. It only just made it and needed assistance. The tractor ride up on the Downs was fun but very windy! Good visit with mum and home relaxing now before I start on the roast dinner Ditto that is really good news about your son. I hope everyone's day is going well and PK got pudding and cake. We had pink sponge heart shaped cakes with pink butter cream on top at the care home. Absolutely delicious!

Hey! Sounds like you all had a really great day! Hanging out with family is always good! B and I, Mindy, hubby, and Gabe met little sis and family for a meal at our fav seafood restaurant. It was fun catching up with them, especially nieces! Younger niece, Sarah, is graduating this May and is putting in job applications near here at local Catholic schools. She hopes to get signed on as a 1st or 2nd grade teacher, joining the ranks of teachers in the family! 😎Then we went to see Gabe and the Dynamics play. They did really well!
Pluto, that was quite a day and meal! Nice to have time with your mom!
Rainbow, yours sounds equally as good, I’ll have to check FB and see if I can find the cake pics!
Ditto, glad you talked with your son and will visit soon! They did the time change on Mother’s Day?
Take care all...hugs!
