Quiet day in here. Lovely to have you posting Teebs. What are your Christmas plans? Why is my sciatica always worse when I'm pushing a trolley around a supermarket? On the tablets now Thanks for those ideas Rainbow. Jan said she's happy to shop as well while she is here. She's gluten free at the moment. I think it's connected to her auto immune diagnosis which is affecting one of her organs. Good day at work and lovely time at one of the group's Pukka Pie tonight!

Quiet day in here. Lovely to have you posting Teebs. What are your Christmas plans? Very quiet time at home Pluto, probably nip up and see the various grandbairns and back home for Christmas dinner. We now have my mum living with us which is one of the reasons for moving house, she has glaucoma and is losing her sight, so there was no way I was leaving her on her own. This will be her second Christmas with us, which is lovely Do you have any special plans? I don’t envy you scrapping the frost of the car Rainbow, I know D gets frustrated with it he reckons it’s far easier to clean snow off

that's lovely Teebs, did you move far? Not too far, just down the hill as they say up here 😃 which is quite funny as there is ‘hill’ in our address we are actually on the flat for the first time since I got married . We have a smaller garden now which is a blessing and no stairs up to the house. It was at the stage I couldn’t manage the steps at the old house, there were 18 up to my front door in total

Good grief Teebs! That's a lot of steps up to the front door! I bet your mum loves living with you. It's hard when they lose their independence. It will be a very different Christmas for me as it will be the first one without dad and mum in the care home. We can't bring her back as she will be too unsettled but my sister will go there and we will go for the evening buffet. I bought the Disney film Coco in Morrison's. H and I loved it! So different and sad too. No scraping for me yet Just realised you have been on to Ditto. I didn't see. Must be tired. We visit some lovely homes and very poor homes and a whole lot in between. A mixture like Rainbow said. Keep calm out there

that's a lot of steps! Sure was Rainbow, but it’s all good now 😃 Sorry to hear your mum can’t join you, but totally understand about unsettling her, lovely that you’ll be able to visit for the evening buffet 😊 Well I better let these dogs out to the garden before I lock up, see you both later or tomorrow

Hey!! Quick post, just finished putting up the little tree by the computer...half the lights are out! But I didn't notice until I decorated it and plugged it in, so it's going to have to do. I'll try to remember to get another one on sale after Christmas! Lmao...I did that one year, put it in the closet and forgot I bought it. So when the next Christmas came around, I went out and bought another one! When I went to get the decorations down, and there it was! Ensemble today, the school owner came into their rehearsal room and gave them a new song to learn, Yellow by Cold Play. (I didn't know it!) But they listened to it a couple of times, Tony gave Gabe his tablet to read the lyrics, and in a couple of tries they were getting it! Tony is always so proud of them! Rainbow, you're right about parenting skills, not everyone is capable of giving the love and support kids need. Do you only have certain ages assigned to you? Little sis' husband works for Jefferson parish, and works really hard with the 'delinquent' teens, some facing juvenile lock up or drug rehab. He's a good guy to have on their side, tries to find programs that he thinks will help, but he can only do so much, and so many of them don't have parents that don't give a crap about what they do! Really sad! Pluto, holidays are always difficult when you've lost a family member. I think the evening meal with your mom sounds really nice, and she may find the festivities will lift her spirits. Teebs, love that you've got a house with easier access for you, and that you're able to have your mom with you! I saw your FB posts of granddaughter's birthday...she's so cute, and her cake was so pretty! Ditto, you'll be fine with the flu jab! I had mine last week, it always gets red and itchy, but nurse says it's fine, lol! If it keeps me from getting the flu, then sign me up! My primary doctor's office was a nightmare last week, with so many sick people snuffling and hacking and blowing their noses! And I sat there for 2 hours before I was called to the back! I felt bad for them, but I was glad to get in an examination room...I love my doctor, but she's always behind! Always say, 'thank you for waiting', and I smile, but thinking, 'did I have a choice?' Lol! I love Tower Heist, too! Deedee and PK, hope you're good, and come on and visit for awhile! Last night I binge watched the last three episodes of The Haunting of Hill House...so creepy, but good! I've been doing some online Christmas shopping, letting it all come to me, lol. I still have to go out and get things, but online really helps! Take care all...hugs!

Good morning Feels like a chilly one M, always plug in the lights before assembling You can never have too many trees and decs imo. We work up to 25 years in theory but mainly teens and the really troubled ones are worked by the next grade up. Cindy and hubby do such good work Coldplay are fab. Yellow was one of their early hits. Listen to them when you can. They are great live but sadly I have never seen them. Hope Gabe enjoys the song. Teebs I think I have missed some piccies so will check out on FB. I need to get rid of stuff that clogs up my page!! Have a good day Rainbow. Hope it's not too hectic

morning When I started my job 22 years ago Marilyn we were 0-7, then changed to 0-11, then 0-19 and now we're 0-25!! My oldest l directly work with is 16 but l have a family with 7 kids who go up to 22, makes for an interesting case load A loved Coco Pluto, we have Sky cinema so can watch for free at the moment but l think we will change the package after Christmas for something cheaper I won't put the tree up until just before Christmas, maybe the 20th if I take the day off, l have more than 2 days of TOIL to take so just deciding when to take it, only 1 visit today but a mountain of paperwork Do you have some Christmas performances to go to for the grandkids Teebs? I'm taking A to a nursery party on Friday Hope you get on today PK and Deedee, it's lovely having the board so busy Stay warm and dry everyone

Afternoon 😃. Taylors cake was so cute M it was a shame to cut into it I’m going to something at Rileys nursery next Tuesday Rainbow I’m really looking forward to it, at present that’s the only thing in the pipeline. Did you find anything interesting at the charity shop or fayre Ditto? If you don’t find any pics Pluto I could post them here if you’re interested I’m watching Countdown for the first time in years, I’d forgotten how much I enjoyed it , but I’m really waiting on my favourite 15-1..... love it. Not at all Teebs!Enjoy those shows. I can't abide game shows but I love all the antique programmes. I did see the cake and then recognised other piccies I had seen Hope you bought some treasures Ditto We missed the Christmas fair at Antonia's nursery. It was last year she won the giant bottle of bubbly in the raffle Tricky visit which involved disarming a 10 year old with a very sharp knife who was threatening to kill his mum Tomorrow it's hamper collection day from the Sally Army and delivering them to families plus a Christmas lunch at work so all in all a better day ahead! Rainbow I got Coco for £7. It's probably the same in all supermarkets.

Jings Pluto, that really was a worrying visit you had today 😲 Ditto my mum is now 92 and apart from the glaucoma she’s fitter than I am Hope you got your early night Rainbow sounds like a busy day for you I’m sitting watching Inside the Ambulance, D records it and has two episodes to catch up on . I don’t mind it too much, but he records some rubbish at times to all

Good morning My dad had glaucoma too. I had convinced myself there was something going on with my eyes but at a recent sight check appointment I was given the all clear as usual. I used to get free sight tests cos dad had it and now they're free cos I'm old! What is your mum's secret to keeping to keeping fit Teebs? Ditto, I haven't seen those garlands either. I love them as they remind me of childhood Christmas's especially in the 60's. Maybe you can get them online. I must try and get to B and M! I've never been. Only one appointment at a school today and a really good day ahead plus last working day M, I love that pole dancing elf you shared on FB Hope today turns out well for everyone
